This is when qualified immunity goes wrong. And why it needs to be reworked and clarified, because any cop considering something like this should know that if he does something that stupid and dangerous, he will be getting fired and charged for it.
Qualified immunity should protect against spurious lawsuits like being charged with unnecessary roughness for forcing an uncooperative suspect's arm around to get them into handcuffs.

What we have developed because of the abuse of Qualified Immunity is a two-tiered legal system.
Of it would be attempted homicide/ murder for a civilian why is it different for a LEO?

While regular old gay people just want to go to work, grill out, and hang out with their loved ones.
I know plenty like that. My best friend is one of them. I can't be friends with THAT type like we are discussing here. They are nasty, toxic, vile people who are now apparently up front and open about wanting to groom your children. Disgusting.
What needs to happen, is the gay community needs to start speaking out against others in the gay community who are like this...but I don't see it happening on any large scale. (Or they'll be cancelled when they do)

This isn't one instance, it's one example that's particularly newsworthy because of how the mother was treated by the police. There were multiple instances occurring when the first bathroom bill passed. Reporting died down because the left wing media was never reporting it and there was less incentive for right wing media to report it after the issue went out of the spotlight.

Sure you can claim the movement has been hijacked. But the longer you leave them running it, the less likely people are to believe that.
As it is, it’s starting to take on a feel like Islam ironically. You’ve got your moderate Islamics publicity saying that they cannot hold back their radicals if you don’t give them whatever they want. Sure they say that the radicals give all of them moderates a bad name, but they sure are quick to take advantage of all the gains the radicals make and refuse to talk about walking some of it back.
They are legitimately educating their own on how to commit sexual assault.
