Stand alone complex paired with playing fucky power games with his protection detail. that is all it would take. they call him Hitler for a decade. They broke people's brains when dealing with him. there is a fairly large minority of people who are incapable of being rational with him now. who do fully buy into the media. who drank the kool-aid. who go online and hear things like "won't some guy with cancer who only has a few months left to live rid us of this fascist".
now pair it with some DEI Karens in charge of his security. they deliberately were running less qualified people on his detail. they denied additional security assets often. it was a power move for them. because being able to say no to Orange man? that is big for them. it let them say your not MY president and you won't be you bigot. they were wrong sure. but Karens often are.
now you combine those two things and what do you have? anything that can go wrong will go wrong. and there will be highly motivated actors who will make the attempt. and none of it requires a massive conspiracy beyond the media going hating Orange man lines our pockets so let's put it on blast.
