I find it amusing that within 10 years Canada changed from a hyper-progressive mega-california style people into a people who are now questioning just what the hell is going on.

Canada boiled the frog too quickly and it has leaped out of the pot lmao.

My favorite posts are the ones where they go "Wait, we bring in shitloads of unskilled people who individually need about 80k a year to pay for...WHY are we doing this?"

Well, we all know why.

We're just not allowed to say it!

I think its less them boiling the frog too quickly and more that when left wing politics go to their natural conclusion they end up in abserdity.
 
Dunno if this is the right place but I finally had it with the libtard members of my community and flipped out on them after seeing them saying the Democrats lost because America is racist and sexist. It finally fucking set me off and I had to call them out on their vapid acerebral bullshit. This was there response, not to my surprise but certainly to my rank disappointment:

I went through this same thing. As did @Bacle and a few others here.

You ever notice, while we do have some rabid people here, you're more accepted disagreeing with right wingers than left wingers? Because that's what I noticed.

I have tons of disagreements with people on here. Most of them minor, and it's fine. But if you even step a little off the platform with left wingers you're not treated very well.

The default assumption with right wingers is that everyone yourself included is some degree of fuck up and is motivated by self interest. While this looks a lot more cynical it actually results in people who are more willing and able to forgive and forget.

The Left assumes people are born good and are perfectable which from the outside looks a lot more optamistic but results in people who are far less forgiving.

Oh I've always been a social conservative/socially conservative person. By my very nature I'm conservative, I ration food for fuck sake, I'm like a borderline-hypochondriac paranoid schizophrenic. Economically I am left of center however. Agreed about most leftists though. The left and liberals - moreover Democrat loyalist mainstream liberals - are conformist and brainwashed. They irk me.

At this point I don't even view journalism as a legitimate career. When I hear "Journalist" I might as well be hearing "Drug smuggler" or "Serial rapist".

California doing something as a stealth war on the poor move to further hyperinflate the value of living space there under the aegis of environmentalism, even as they systematically destroy its environment in other ways? Golly gee it must be a day that ends in Y already but I'll admit I didn't expect them to fill out a Californian bingo card in one move like this it usually takes at least 2.
