I'm not sure how we missed such an IMPORTANT story for so long!!! Thankfully the mainstream news informed me of this historic first for America!

I actually have nothing against Undersecretary Gina Ortiz-Jones who was confirmed unanimously by the Senate back in July apparently but I saw a segment on Good Morning America today which IIRC is America's top morning show having a segment on how she's breaking barriers and had to endure suffering under those evil Republicans and the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy that President Bill Clinton signed into law... *coughs* but I digress.

But look at all of those firsts!!!

Since we're only up judging her on her identity firsts I wanted to say she's the first Waifu-able Undersecretary of the Air Force but looking over the previous list there's a pretty decent Ginger MILF who filled the role back in the Obama era.

Also she's far from the first female Undersecretary of the Air Force. Those dastardly mysogynist Republicans filled the role with a woman way back in 1989 under George HW Bush.

You'll notice I've talked nothing of her merits or experience or lack thereof regarding her actual appointment and that's because that's immaterial to the story.

Still congratulations to her. This shows in spite of leaving government service back in 2017 because of Trump and losing two Congressional elections in a row in a predominantly Latino district... you can still succeed in government.

Though I doubt we'll hear anything about her again until she gets a promotion and I can copy the thread title for a new thread I'm sure she would do fine in a future Pete Buttigieg Administration.

That's magnanimous of you, but I can't because this sort of stupidity is going to get a lot of guys killed. It is, in effect, one of the many increasing signs that the regime is corrupt, decadent....and dying. As @Husky_Khan noted, we know nothing of any qualifying accomplishments to suggest this individual earned their place, rather we know of her background which has been extolled, both as a humiliation ritual and as an assurance to the powers that be of her ideological conformity to the ruling ideology.
