Election 2020 Election Fraud: Let's face it, this year will be a shitshow

Well just went and voted early, so I can be out of town on election night.

Voted straight R, except where the choice was a Dem or a Libertarian; voted Libertarian on that one.
For mine, it was literally either republican or republican. No dems ran in my county

Pennsylvania Supreme Court has ruled unanimously that mail-in ballots cannot be tossed because the voter's signature on it may not resemble their signature on their registration form

On the one hand, I doubt that state or federal governments would be able to feasibly afford sufficiently reliable signature analysis for verifying these kinds of numbers.

On the other hand...this basically can allow all sorts of blatant forgeries.

I agree with this call.

I would hate for my vote not to count because my signature doesn't match. I have piss poor handwriting that hasn't improved since like 3rd grade. I learned to type early and stopped developing penmanship. As a result, my signature is nothing more than scribble and rarely looks the same. Maybe it's a somewhat similar scribble every time at best.

And also I agree with your first point. The logistics behind having a professional verify every signature is insane. Can't be done in a timely manner.

If people voted in person and had to show ID none of this would even matter.

Not the case in Fulton my good sir. Hell several Democrats ran unopposed for some of less important positions which I'm not happy about. Mind you not many people want to be say for example the county tax collector since everyone will hate you so I can see why incumbents usually don't have opposition

Geez. Cherokee pretty much the whole county is red and most unopposed if not all are republican or independent.

The lines are already in the hours in a lot of the local voting places, due to the lack of people willing to volunteer. Our current voting infrastructure just couldn't handle everyone showing up on the day and voting, and that is with it not being a holiday.

So could we make it a National holiday? I mean we do need to vote and it would give people time off to vote. Could even swap out Columbus day for it.
See, I think this is not a bad idea at all.

Making the day of voting a federal holiday would make it much easier for people to vote over all, at least in non-Covid years.

Yep. During any year with a national election, it takes the place of Columbus day. I would support that.

We should also probably a better way of staffing and locating polling stations, but that's an infrastructure concern. I wonder if you could have an app to check in to vote, to make sure we get an idea of how many people are showing up to each polling place and if we need to set up overflow (Have trailers with backups ready to go to deal with surge)

Damn if only there was some sort of way we could vote that could prevent the ability to easily forge mail-in ballots...

What poor timing...

Business Insider said:
Postal police union members told The Wall Street Journal last week that they had no evidence to suggest the order has compromised election-mail security. But Jim Bjork, a retired letter carrier and officer as well as a representative for the PPOA, told the paper that if undermining trust in election-mail security wasn't the goal: "then why not wait until after the election to neuter the postal police?"

"If I was going to undermine public trust in the mail, one of the first things I would do is pull postal police off the street," PPOA president Frank Albergo told The Wall Street Journal, adding it was especially concerning that order came so close to the election.

And according to Marketwatch...

Marketwatch said:
The union representing the officers filed a lawsuit last month in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia seeking an emergency reversal of the management order, noting the need to “ensure the integrity of the mail.” The court hasn’t ruled on the request, and the Justice Department has asked the federal judge to dismiss the lawsuit, arguing, among other things, that the court lacks jurisdiction.

And according to Marketwatch...
Reading through the BI article, it notes that the Postal cops are being told to only patrol Post Office grounds in order to cut costs. Trump has repeatedly pointed out how the Post Office loses money all the time, and a lot of it, and had has beeen trying to cut costs there.

I also remember articles showing that the Postal Workers Union, or something to that effect, had endorsed Biden a while back.

So this isn't nearly as bad as they make it out to be, Postal cops are still patrolling the place they are needed most, and the Post Office is hardly a non-partisan org at this point.

And now for Kamala fucking up in a couple ways.

Electioneering charges might be in order due to this:

And appearently she showed up to a Cleveland rally so shitfaced she didn't know where she was initially, then wandered around aimlessly after a bit before puking in the bushes:
