What you guys fail to realize is that the left and liberals believe that right wingers and republicans already lie and have always been lying + the usual buzzword nonsense. Their response? Double down on their tactics and be better at it.
You guys are still trapped in this nonsense of needing to try and prove to the left that you are not liars or that you are not racist. The Left believes that you are these things inherently and you can never prove otherwise.

I hope you mean @Lord Invictus as he is the doomer and the depressed one. I'm just making observations and doing commentary.
The problem is that they'll claim we lie anyways, with or without proof. They'll say all of the most awful things about us. So it isn't really as big of a problem as you make it out to be.
What is the question, if we want to sink to their level and become like them or do we want to at least retain some semblance of standards.

I don’t care about trying to prove to the left that we aren’t racists or liars, they will think that we are both anyway and will lie about us anyway. However, I don’t think that we should actually be liars. We shouldn’t compromise our principles or humble ourselves trying to prove we’re not bad to the left, I strongly believe that, I also believe that we shouldn’t in fact be bad.
There is no contradiction there. My previous post was just saying that the left would selectively pick our posts to represent us.
I agree, we need to avoid compromising our principles as much as possible. We are not like them, we do not lack principle, nor do we have the win at all costs mentality. We are not power hungry like them. And we must avoid becoming like them as much as possible.

I'm thinking that regardless of how this goes, the Republicans should go full press. Gay marriage, abortion, DACA...all of it needs to go before the SCOTUS. I'm not even a Republican and this is beyond the pale. There can be no forgiveness for this. It should be a full on press against the left for this atrocity.

Anyone who supports socialism is either ignorant, or supports genocide. If you get to the point of running for office and still supporting it, your ignorance loses any faint veneer of excusability it may have had, and you are openly campaigning for millions to die. Socialism is Slavery.
Part of why Trump has been so successful, is because he was willing to tell it like it is, and that's something that the right in general needs to be willing to adept, even if they could best do it more adeptly than Trump.

I'm not edgy for edgy's sake. I simply believe in giving accurate prognoses.
It doesn't help a cancer patient to be told a warm story of how remission is certain in a few weeks, when he has but six months to live.
That's my philosophy, uncompromising honesty. Lying or dishonesty is a tool, not an action. I believe folks on the right should when speaking amongst themselves, be unfailingly honest, even to the point it depresses them.

People like AOC are already looking to expand their own internal conflicts.

I agree, it won't work long term; but that will be cold comfort when we all end up having to pay the consequences, assuming the Dems manage to succeed in their short term goal of getting Biden and Harris into the White House. They will do everything in their power to drag everyone else down with them.
