Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

Given President Trump's repeated statements against mail-in and absentee ballots, I would honestly expect that more of his voters went to the polls in person. It conversely follows that the majority of mail-in votes would be for Biden, so I don't see this as necessarily evidence of fraud.

I am of the opinion that "not counting votes" is never good news, regardless of who those votes have been from. That said, "hold pending verification" is an entirely acceptable state of things.

I want every American citizen's vote properly counted, no matter who they cast it for. I support all reasonable and sincere efforts to validate and verify voters and ballots, but the bottom line is that it is systematically unacceptable for votes validly cast by American citizens to be discounted.

Except that in PA those votes weren't legally or validly cast.

Per PA law, a valid mail in vote is one postmarked on or before November 3rd, with signature verification, and several other criteria that the Democrats in the executive and judicial branch decided simply didn't apply despite the fact that the constitution is explicit in saying that the state legislature sets the time, place, and manner of elections.

Ballots counted without both parties observers present and in a position to ensure the validity of that count are likewise void.

The dead are also generally incapable of requesting ballots a week after they die, much less filling them out and returning them (which has been proven in at least one case in PA).

Ballots legally cast should be counted and the process of counting them should be transparent and ensure that doubts about the validity of the count don't exist.

Alas, PA is violating every single part of that process. To the point where rumor has it that the state Legislature is seriously talking about simply refusing to certify the PA results for either candidate because they have zero confidence in the election being fair and legal.

I'd argue that they should only accept results up to the point when they stopped counting for the day.

I'd argue that they should only accept results of votes where voters were physically present at voting place. As for those who physically cannot... well, organize transportation, and/or open voting place where they are.

Mail-in ballots simply have too much potential for misuse.

That works too.

Honestly, I don't think it would be a bad idea.

I heard Dan Crenshaw hid in an elevator from voters demanding he back Trump.

That is, the Republican party in a nutshell. Its useless and has not actually fought for us.

It doesn't want to fight. Its composed of men and women who just want to get rich from Lobbyists while lowering their own income tax rates.

Give Dan Crenshaw some credit. Dude was a former Navy Seal and he's actively fighting this crap in Government, where it belongs. He's done more for this country than you, or me. Cut the crap. The last thing you want to do is to set off an angry crowd.
