United States Donald Trump CNN Town Hall

I can't believe Trump just killed a Woman on stage on live television and the mob cheered him on.

Pulls out the receipts on January 6th literally. Apparently CNN is that predictable.

Calls Ashli Babbitt a hero.

Calling Kaitlin Collins a 'nasty woman' after some back and forth bickering.

CNN pollster getting owned after the show by one of the focus group.

Congresswomyn Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez declared Trump the winner! Who knew you could win a Town Hall format interview.

Apparently the CNN Town Hall was so successful they ended it twenty minutes early. What an efficient operation.

It looked like a mercy killing to me...

I swear, this decade gets goofier and goofier as it progresses.

Not sure about 2024, but regardless, I think we can all agree future historians will have quite a lot to work with when it comes to making heads or tails of the 2020s.

It will be known as the mass corruption, where governments, institutions and private companies all over the world conspired together against citizens and tried to control and dominate them instead of protect them. It may also be the prelude to ww3.

People will look back on today and say the same as they do about the nazis.

"How could those people have let this happen? What's wrong with them? Those people were obviously evil, how did they take over? Why did people support the obviously corrupt takeover? What a blatantly evil and monstrous ideology. No one should have fallen for such a travesty. That can never happen again, we would do something to stop it now... right? We would have stopped them if we were there."

Twenty minutes early?

Yikes.

Trump is apparently back in peak 'completely wreck the media at their game' form.

If they keep messing up this bad, he will take the White House again.

Well there's some semantics or quibbling going on apparently with how it ended twenty minutes early.

Newsweek said:
Dylan Byers, a senior correspondent at Puck News, tweeted on Wednesday night that the town hall was scheduled as a 90-minute broadcast, "though the network expected the actual event to go as long as 75 minutes."

He went on to say that it ended less than 70 minutes in. "In other words, they could have gone longer if they wanted—which is usually what executives do with big ratings draws," Byers added.

Archived listings show that the town hall was scheduled to last 75 minutes, followed by two back-to-back episodes of Anderson Cooper 360. Another Twitter user said the program lasted "exactly 69 minutes," posting images of the event on TV at 6:09 p.m. PT.

69 minutes... Nice.

But yeah the time block was scheduled for ninety minutes, supposedly the Town Hall was scheduled for 75 minutes, it only lasted 69 minutes and there's reasons for why CNN would want it to go the full ninety minutes since it was in all likelihood a ratings bonanza.

my money is that future generations will look back on this time period as one the last time periods where reform could have saved the modernist west, but a corrupt establishment decided to abuse its power to maintain their power at any cost while making pretty much everything worse.

Disturbing. Disturbing. Awful. Ridiculous. Disturbing. He lies so shamelessly.

"That audience that upset you. That's a sampling of about half the country."

IT CAN HAPPEN AGAIN. IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN. HE HASN'T CHANGED. AND HE'S RUNNING HARD! 🏃‍♂️🍆

I almost forgot how unhinged and crazy TDS made people till I listened to this chode explain how disturbing it was just to hear a dude talk lol.

so most people cut out after trump left. but after the town hall they went to a panel of CNN anchors with rep Byron on from Florida. He smacked them down in a 5-6 v 1.5 (he had another kinda meh guy on the panel with him). It was glorious. Anderson Cooper kept trying to talk over him. Van Jones also tried. Byron immediately brought up that he was on the committee and the guy testified under oath contradicting what he wrote in his book about Trump not offering the national guard to supplement the cap police before the riot. I know most people tuned out after but that was gold to see.

Waiting on DeSantis to launch his campaign for the Presidency.

bluntly I think there is a fair chance that he doesn't. with how big a difference in the polls there is? especially after trump gets another bump from the ridiculous travesty of justice that happened in NY. Desantis seems to pay alot of attention to the polls and may decide to save his shot. If he doesn't throw his hat in the ring I expect that there won't be a primary.
