That's unfortunately true but still I'm far more American then say. A Wasp marxist professor from Massachusetts. Yet he's a white man directly descended from the first Americans. While I'm the product of African slaves and German immigrant's. Is also point out the simple fact that the folks doing what you say. Walter Williams is one of my favorite political commentators and I wish more white people had his attitudes. But I also don't like that Democrats are building an anti-white coalition either. What I'd like to do is end or seriously curtail immigration from everywhere. Not so that nobody comes to the USA, but so that the people who get in are the ones who actually want* to be American. With closed borders we can then work on unifying the nation and seeing ourselves are Americans rather some demographic subgroup. The more that this race vs that race becomes the focus of politics, the more we lose sight of taxation, rights, foreign policy, monetary policy, and all of the other substantive issues. Which is why I think that the political elites want ethnic tensions to become center stage.

Ethno-nationalists are wrong.

Don't pretend they're the reason that the right has been tarred with the 'racist' label. That is 99% due to relentless campaigns of lies from the Democrats and their willing allies in the media. Ethnonationalists have no meaningful presence in or impact on the Republican party, and haven't since... ever, as far as I've been able to find. The Democrats meanwhile, were the open party of racism 50 years ago.

There are a few fringe nuts, like Richard Spencer, who've tied to tie themselves to the right wing because the left won't have them anymore. There's a few people of more confusing priorities, like a few of the members on here, who are arguably actually right-wing in some regards, and have some strains of ethnonationalism to them.

Those are a vanishingly tiny minority.
