The next Chinese regime will be better. China has good traditions and good values it just currently has a regime that runs counter to all of that

Was not aware that Chinese agriculture was in such a messy state. Doesn’t bode well for the world, not just the People’s Republic.

It's not impossible for China to win, but given how communist militaries usually perform, and their utter lack of meaningful military experience, odds are good that any attempt to cross the strait will be a strategic and tactical disaster.

It's possible the Taiwanese will actually be less competent, or simply not have enough will to resist, but given what they saw happen to Hong Kong, I don't think that's likely.
