I have been getting Disability Benefits since 1996 due to my injures. And now Biden is gonna try and pull everything from Veterans WW2 and under who currently get Disability Compensation. Congrats Biden you just gave any and all people running against you the most effective campaign ads ever for 2024.

Again after what happened to Trump I don’t have much sympathy. I just see soldiers as a job. Our nation is not under threat by any of the foreign nations they want to fight. Our rights are being threatened by the left who replaced Trump and they did nothing if the left takes away the soldiers benefits. Well I don’t care hopefully it will lead to lower taxes.
They are taking away VETS stuff.

Ok that’s pretty fucked up. It’s one thing to say from now on the benefits are lower. But I think the benefits that were earned in the past should it be reduced it feels like scamming if they do that. No the benefits for those who already received them should stay the same if they want to lower for the future that is different.

see the thing is we care about that. and evil bad orange man cared about unfucking the VA. however since everything he did was bad it does make sense that this would get targeted. pretty fucked up and all but not surprised. hope they fight against it and the vets work out who tried to push that so they can run a bunch of ads showing some crippled vets that were going to have their benefits taken away. for some reason no one attached their name to the proposals directly. strange that.
edit. looking at it they just kinda put out a massive swath of options for reducing the cost of just about everything that congress spends money on. I think this is just a them looking at shit and seeing what might be more tolerable to cut in the hard times coming.

SC is a Republican State with a High Veteran population. Being seen as cutting Veteran Benefits is literally political suicide here. Past history in this state has shown that. They will act out of saving there own skin.
