If Biden do not made deal with them.FDR and Truman gave up Poland to Moscov for free when they should fight soviets in best interest of USA,not Poland - why Biden should be smarter? he is democrat,after all.

You do realize every war has people that party at home. Even World War 2. This is nothing new. This is a Human History thing.

Nothing new? Soldiers today now have access to social media if they have devices that let them look back at what's going on back at home in real time rather than through letters to post their reactions online.

Dude do you not think people that got drafted in the past did not tell their Battle Buddies what was going on back home. You must have never served at all during wartime.

Issue with partying here is that Ukraine is fighting an existential war and supposedly threw all at war effort. I'm sure the guys who got dragged to recruiting stations by police and SBU are all warm and toasty that guys who have money and connections are partying and fucking like there is no war, just like Russian soldiers in 1917 were delighted to know that aristocracy in Petrograd is guzzling champagne like there is no tomorrow. Fortunately, the security apparatus in 2022 is much better at eliminating opposition than it was in 1917, so there will be no Kerensky and no soldier mutinies, soldiers will hate their scumbag leadership, but will still die for their country.
Now I wonder if there's going to be a military coup if the russians have been kicked out.
I mean, even conscripted Ukrainians seem to be doing a lot better then the Russians.
At least the newer conscripts for Ukraine at least get NATO weapons

Ya think? How many times do we have to interact you ask that question? I kept saying it and my opinion remains the same. Pity me mock me belittle me I'm a bloody know nothing civilian and my opinion on that remains ignorantly the same finding out this happens.
And it would be utterly demoralizing just fighting my ass off while a few kms back to safety is a party staring me in the face. Why would I even do a TikTok reaction is beyond me but no one is exempt from wanting to do trendy things and even in the military recording yourself for social media does happen.

Someone may be celebrating you in combat.
You hope it is because you are doing a good job and winning.

And Ukraine are getting fucking NATO weapons rotated in the frontlines instead of older Soviet kit.

In any normal war I am looking for a few basic needs. Food, shelter, ammo, good leadership and support from above or nearby. Not having all of those my morale would be taking a drop especially if I know my life would be wasted for nothing as one said on youtube when he mentioned the wall of photos of youths straight of school to IEDs in Iraq that kept increasing. He really believed in his cause and it broke him.
