Because Russia used negotiation and peacefully convinced half the Ukrainian forces stationed there to join them.

Unlike USA using bombing to force the Iraqis, Libyans, and Syrians to bend the knee.

Russia >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> USA

Which have been under Ukrainian artillery fire since 2014.

Putin invaded Ukraine in Feb. 2022 to put an end to their murderous slaughter of innocent civilians.

Except the Iraqi people want Saddam back.

Two people can play this game

The 13 were actually real.
They didn't die though.

And what yappend to the Russians this time around huh?
You donknow the Russians have still lost more of thier armed forces in a month then the US in 20 years...

Ask Zelensky.

This is my favorite kind of copenick post. "WHY WON'T THE UKRAINIANS JUST SURRENDER? WHY WON'T THEY COME OUT OF THEIR CITIES AND STAND IN AN OPEN FIELD SO WE CAN BLOW THEM UP EASILY? WHY ARE THEY ACTUALLY FIGHTING FOR THEIR HOMELAND? WHY AREN'T THEY SURRENDERING EVEN WHEN WE MASSACRE THEIR WOMEN AND CHILDREN TO PUNISH THEM!?!?!?!?! IT'S NOT FAAAAIR!"

Russia >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> USA

😏

I know you jerk off over Russia carpet bombing millions of civilians to death but it ain't happening bro.

Carpet Bombing is a legitimate tactic of war and is permissible when a city is used for war production purposes or opponents decide to make a city a fortress thus forfeiting its protection.

Yeah there's totally a Javelin missile in that container that's positioned between two 55 gallon drums and concrete blocks because I, too, would use a live missile and not an empty shipping container filled with sand as part of a defensive barricade lmao

People under stress do stupid shit.

Anyfuck -

Note this is a 20km north of Okhtyrka, which the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense themselves tweeted about as the front line on the 23rd.

And? This isn't a perfection game. Russia has specific objectives they view as important and are allocating resources to those objectives. What matters is the larger operational picture and on that the UkA is losing and badly.

Or are you going to claim every successful German Counter-Attack in WW2 meant the Allies were failing?

Guess we know why they don't dare get close enough to actually aim those rockets now lmao
😏

So? Standard fare in ACM is to dump ordinance so you can maneuver better. We also have videos of Ka-52s pressing attacks in when warranted. All depends on whether the Operation Demands CAS regardless of threats or if the Operation requires stand off for force preservation for other operations.

Very offensive, much maneuver, so assault

Standard practice when securing a breach from counter-attack while Infantry completes the mop up. This dates all the way back to WW2. Unless an enemy is routing, you secure the breach, wait for the follow on forces to come up and widen it, then you can begin advancing.

Russia isn't fighting a 3rd World Militia, its up against a Professional Army that still has some fight in it still.

Because they bypassed it to threaten Kyiv as part of the Double Feint. A practice going all the way back to WW2. The village was cut off and withered on the vine without the Russians needing to waste time, men. and ammo flattening it.

Seriously, your understanding of how military operations go between professional armies that are willing to duke it out is lacking.

If you want to make fun of Russia by your ideals and standards, consistently apply them to the US which spent 4 and a half years fighting ISIS before eliminating its territorial control in Syria and Iraq. Or its failure to defeat the Taliban, etc.

What really matters is the socioeconomic-political balance of the Ukrainian and Russian States to keep bashing each other and right now that is firmly in Russia's favor.

All else is utterly irrelevant.

No it's not...

Carpet Bombing is always a violation of Article 51 of the Geneva Convention.

A practice that hasn't worked since the 1960s due to the proliferation of man portable anti-vehicle weaponry.

I was gonna say something about troop numbers - Russia has sent more to Ukraine than we sent to Afghanistan or Iraq at any one time.

But here's a better way to put it: Russia has already suffered more losses in Ukraine than the US ever did in Iraq and Afghanistan combined.

No it hasn't.

The number of United States troops who have died fighting the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan had passed 7,000 at the end of 2019.
- US & Allied Killed | Costs of War.

RTISEMENT
The death toll has already exceeded the U.S. military's losses in the first 18 years of the Afghanistan war, when just over 7,000 troops were killed.

Estimate of Russian losses is 7-15 thousand.

If its not quite there its close, but we probably are already at that point.

You see
Since we had to bombard military targets and got people killed, he seems to think bombing civies that got military killed is the same

Read section 7:

7. The presence or movements of the civilian population or individual civilians shall not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations, in particular in attempts to shield military objectives from attacks or to shield, favour or impede military operations. The Parties to the conflict shall not direct the movement of the civilian population or individual civilians in order to attempt to shield military objectives from attacks or to shield military operations.

Ukrainian Civilians have had multiple Humanitarian Corridors set up to use. If they fail to leave the cities which have been made fortresses, their protection is forfeited.

A practice that hasn't worked since the 1960s due to the proliferation of man portable anti-vehicle weaponry.

Which has done no such thing. Infantry portable anti-vehicle weaponry can sting but not stop columns.

Nothing to see here Comrades. UkA wasn't conducting clandestine experiments they wanted to keep quiet. Why that would be conspiracy theories.

Now that is just plain wrong.

Funny how you left this part out...

5. Among others, the following types of attacks are to be considered as indiscriminate:

(a) an attack by bombardment by any methods or means which treats as a single military objective a number of clearly separated and distinct military objectives located in a city, town, village or other area containing a similar concentration of civilians or civilian objects; and

Especially given your laughable attempt to consider an entire city a single military objective given it's directly stated you aren't allowed to do that.

Which has done no such thing. Infantry portable anti-vehicle weaponry can sting but not stop columns.
And how did Russia's one attempt at a column work out for them? Oh right... It was blasted and forced to break up showing why Column's aren't actually a thing anymore...

It honestly just amazes me that you think Russia still has any chance at winning this given taking a single city of less then five hundred thousand has taken them a month and bled them most of their modern equipment and over ten percent of their military...

So if we go by the generally accepted ORBAT tracking you're telling me the Russians devoted over 50% of their combat power to fronts that had fuck-all to do with their supposed ~real objective~ in the east? lol okay buddy. Also, "wither on the vine" doesn't seem to be working against Sumy, Konotop or those other "bypassed" cities. Almost like forces planning to fight in cities will locate big supply dumps in them ahead of time and hide them in the urban terrain, or something.

So? Standard fare in ACM is to dump ordinance so you can maneuver better. We also have videos of Ka-52s pressing attacks in when warranted. All depends on whether the Operation Demands CAS regardless of threats or if the Operation requires stand off for force preservation for other operations.

So were these guys being engaged by Stingers too? Because I don't see Stingers!

Which makes the complete and total lack of overhead camouflage, against an enemy that's already repeatedly demonstrated its ability to take out tanks with precision indirect fire suicidally fucking stupid.

Seriously, your understanding of how military operations go between professional armies that are willing to duke it out is lacking.

If you check the historical record, Russia getting its ass whipped by people everyone thought would fold at the first gunshot is actually the historical norm. Just ask the Japanese and Finns!

If you want to make fun of Russia by your ideals and standards, consistently apply them to the US which spent 4 and a half years fighting ISIS before eliminating its territorial control in Syria and Iraq. Or its failure to defeat the Taliban, etc.

As expected of Russians, even their goalposts are motorized. 😏

Nonsense. Russian military planners, in their Zap Brannigan-like genius, accounted for the accumulated corruption and ineptitude of the most plebian of Russian units by concentrating them into the area which would inspire the most fighting by the Ukrainian neo-nazis. Thus they capitalized upon the ancient, vital military element of surprise (both against Ukraine and against their own personnel!) in addition to placing the units most prone to failure or reluctance into death ground--where they have no option but to fight for their motherland.

Simultaneously, the cream of Russia's military crop focused its efforts on the less glamorous and flashy but more strategic and fashy Donbas front and the villainous Azov elements in Mariupol. This operation gets less media coverage, but benefits from the units involved being streamlined into an efficient, effective force for denazification by the separation of chaff from wheat which the Zap Brannigan Surprise Assault on Kiev produced--and benefits from its own capacity for sudden Surprise chaff-seperation tactics thanks to the presence of the Donbas and Luhansk forces.

The tactical and strategic brilliance here cannot be understated.

It honestly just amazes me that you think Russia still has any chance at winning this given taking a single city of less then five hundred thousand has taken them a month and bled them most of their modern equipment and over ten percent of their military...
I mean, as underwhelming as things have been for them, Russia still very much has the chance to win. Hell, they're still the favorite (in my civvie-ass assessment at least). The ten percent estimates are for their assembled forces in the region, and Russia has oodles of warehouses yet of both modernized and modern-enough equipment to field replacements (even if meme-worthy replacements of dubious quality), plus (it seems) domestic support, the chance of (more and explicit) conscript deployment, foreign legions/volunteers/mercs of their own, and just flat-down bigger stocks of artillery and other long-range munitions that in protracted attritional warfare can slowly Grozny-fy Ukrainian cities (or military infrastructure, I suppose).

Russia's war might be delayed from any quick or easy victory, but weeks or months of Ukrainian SAMs and artillery (and tanks and everything else) rolling dice on being destroyed up against an opponent that can absorb even disproportionate losses in those categories to do that puts Ukraine decidedly at the disadvantage and gives Russia a very real, even likely, chance of winning--even if at significant, perhaps pyrrhic, cost.

So says my infinitely knowledgeable, Tom Clancy-reading ass, anyhow. :p

Especially given your laughable attempt to consider an entire city a single military objective given it's directly stated you aren't allowed to do that.

Which is overruled by section 7. Once a war starts and a city is made a fortress, the protections are forfeited unless all military installations are shut down, armed forces leave, and the city declared open. If not done, the city itself is a legitimate target as military units have made it one.

You do realize there are multiple Russian Columns, the bulk of them getting through without problems and very few actual losses in the columns that are hit.

And it amazes me that you still think its easy to take a well defended city given the US Military spent longer to take Fallujah from 4,000 insurgents in 2004 than it took them to conquer Iraq from an Army of 424,000 soldiers who mostly noped out and deserted.

And in 2nd Fallujah, the US had a 3 to 1 advantage in manpower, a massive firepower advantage, and the city was surrounded.

Also has it occurred to you that Russia has a completely different playbook? They have specific objectives in mind and an overall plan that achieves their socioeconomic-political goals.

They don't give a fuck what Western Analysts and failed NATO Generals think. They had to fool only one person: Zelensky. They only need to beat one Army: Ukraine's Army. Everyone else is irrelevant.

Did they hope the UkA would give up and nope out? Sure, but weren't counting on it, and if that was their plan, the entirety of the VDV would have been thrown into the North West and North East and Spetnaz would have targeted Zelensky as the first move.

What did they actually do?

They weighted the Offensive to the South with the aim of securing the Sea of Azov and setting the conditions to Operationally Encircle the Donbass. Everything else was a double feint to pin and draw out UkA.

In fact they didn't even expect to overrun Kherson so quickly and had too few troops to hold the town proper and instead focused on holding the bridge crossing and the overran Brigade Bases. They took a week to reinforce the advance here as they had more priority to the Azov Sea Offensive. Kherson was only ever meant to shield the Western Flank of the Azov Sea Offensive and secure ground for the second phase advance to Kryvy Rih in conjunction with a push from Donbas.

The major cities can largely be left to wither on the vine. If they fill up with troops, all the better. The Russians only need to take a few key cities to cripple UkA. Kryvy Rih is one of them. Dnipro and Pavlograd are the others. Seizing these Cities will affect the Operational Surrender of the UkA and render the state of Ukraine indefensible and all further resistance pointless.

I consider myself a free speech absolutist but I gotta say you are testing my resolve in ways hithero unimaginable.

Could care less.

Operation Mars and Uranus were launched at the same time alongside an offensive to relieve Leningrad. This spread out German Reserves and ensured the successful encirclement of 6th Army, relieved the siege of Leningrad, while the Mars Operation was a bloody stalemate.

Same principle here. Attack on a broad ass front, force the enemy to decide which to defend and adjust. If the UkA had reinforced the South, they would have lost their capital. If they threw all into the North East, they would have lost Kharkov. Either of those options were bad from the Ukrainian Political Leadership's view.

As for the bypassed cities, sure they might have stockpiles, but they will eventually run out especially in pitched combat. It was a risk worth taking to achieve the larger operational goals.

So were these guys being engaged by Stingers too? Because I don't see Stingers!

Considering we see them popping flares, yes, indicating they received a lock on warning from some MANPAD or other Air Defense System.

Which makes the complete and total lack of overhead camouflage, against an enemy that's already repeatedly demonstrated its ability to take out tanks with precision indirect fire suicidally fucking stupid.

We see a small number hit while in the open maneuvering, what we don't see is the Russian Counterbattery Radars tracking the fall of shot and enabling the Russian Artillery to shoot back. We also know Russia is launching far more drone sorties in a day than UkA launches in a week and is also hitting and destroying UkA Formations they see. The AFVs dug in have protection from all but direct hits on top of them and may not have had time to set up camouflage yet. Any artillery strike will only sting them, the Ukrainians can't bring to bear sufficient artillery or airstrikes on a long enough time table to actually harm them as the Russian's own countermeasures will be brought to bear to destroy them.

If you check the historical record, Russia getting its ass whipped by people everyone thought would fold at the first gunshot is actually the historical norm. Just ask the Japanese and Finns!

Both who lost and had to give up territory they never got back.

As expected of Russians, even their goalposts are motorized. 😏

The last of Afghan Rebels were destroyed at the Battle of Jalalabad by the DRA and they were in peace negotiations that would see them reintegrated into Afghan Society, Islam would be an Official State Religion and some posts would be given to them in return to end the fighting and get the Refugees back home. Then the USSR fell apart in 1990 and it was on. Pakistan bribed generals of the DRA to switch sides and Najibullah finally threw in the towel in 92 and turned power over to the rebels and went to the UN Compound in Kabul where he stayed till the Taliban dragged him out and hung him.

Say what you will about Najibullah, he went to his death like a man. Ghani fled like a bitch.

Have I called you a nazi?

Nope, you are just a rabid Polish iredentist with a hate-boner for Russia that surpasses that of the average Pole.
You do realize that these banderite nazi-wannabe goons are worshiping a guy that that was responsible for the murder of 100 000 Poles?
Maybe we should add secretly self-hating and historically illiterate to that list.

About 200.000,actually.But soviets genocided more then 500.000.Both 80 years ago.

Now Ukraine is building nazi bandit monuments, but KGBstan is building soviet bandits nmonuments. And KGBstan genocided Czeczenya, when Ukraine genocided nobody, and they are weaker.
So,for all sane poles there is one choice - support Ukraine,if KGBstan finish them we would be next.

And Bulgary after that, too. For your information - soviet treated you worst then poles.
I undesrstandt, that bulgars are longing for Russia - but she was murdered by soviets 100 years ago. Now,you have only kgbstan. They would not help anybody.

All sources are biased and have their own slant. There is no such thing as a non-biased source. What matters is that the information is verifiable.

The Comrades have been busy and took more Javelins, NLAWs, and other war booty.

Chernobyl... "Checks radiation patch"

More comrades join the hunt.

Less Oil for UkA. And there is reports of more strikes in Lviv.

The captured UkA Pidpolkovnyk speaks.

1.All sources are biaseD - BUT ONLY YOUR IDOLS SPEAK ABOUT FIGHTING WITH EVIL SPIRITS AND BANDITS WHO ARLEADY RUN AFTER KILLING CHILDREN,BUT YOUR IDOLS STILL COULD NOT TAKE CITY.

2.When ukrainians show captured tanks, you say it not matter, becouse real fighting is important. Now,you are showing captured NLAWS - why? captured stuff do not count, right?

3.Ossetian are there? it is not comrades joining hunt, but russian lacking troops.

4.KGBstan burned something in Lwów.Great, but they supposed to take entire Ukraine till 6.3.22.

5.Captured colonel.Great, but how many generals ukrainians killed ?

More media

Comrades, don't share shit over Social Media till after the deed is done.

A Taliban Nasheed? Comrades, is there no Nasheed you won't steal now?

Where the capture took place.

Well not unexpected.

Comrade Mayor outlines the demilitarization deal with Russia to his Comrade Citizens.

1.Let assume, then russian found and destroyed some ukrainians thanks to traitor. So what? they killed at least 6 russian generals thanks to russian stupidity.

2.Mariunpol is defended by bandits? then why russian do not take city yet?

3.captured ukrainians - great, but why kgbstan do not win yet?

4.City under ukrainian flag, but rusians would control it? then it is not under ukrainian flag, but kgbstan.

Both sides lie a lot. News at eleven.
Like in every other war, to be honest.
Only years after the conflict the true maybe be know.

The only difference about this war is that is possible to fake more images/videos in almost no time.
Even geolocation and timestamps are easy to falsify.

Yes,all sides are lying - BUT ONLY RUSSIAN ARE TALKING ABOUT FIGHTING EVIL SPIRIT WHICH ARLEADY RUN.
That is difference - ukrainians use normal lies, when kgbstan are using soviet-like propaganda with "fighting cowardly nazis " shit.

The 13 were actually real.
They didn't die though.

You donknow the Russians have still lost more of thier armed forces in a month then the US in 20 years...

I don't remember the CSTO being slimy cunts funneling arms to clear National Socialists in Iraq.

Also your own army dropped "accidently" weapons to ISIS during the Syrian War.

So of course they would loose more than tanks when you are arming Bandera's political grandchildren with Swedish fire and forget missile.
