node.js was a mistake "written" by a dumb leftard.
People who willingly write in javascript are all hipsters, sadly thanks to "native" electron desctop apps that garbage is everywhere.
He dun goofed.

I prefer straight C.

If you rely on the compiler and OS to babysit memory allocation and garbage collection you ain't doing it right.

Yup, that's the point i'm making, its either a purely spiteful attack meant to cause economic damage for after the war (good luck if forced to pay reparations though) while there is little to no expectation for the place to become owned by a puppet\own government in the future, or Russia has only now (rather than hitting it 2 weeks ago) reevaluated things and expects to be in for the long haul, which is how the plant would have time to do meaningful contributions to the Ukrainian war effort.
And you are an expert in military aircraft maintenance now?

Are you an expert in any shit you talk about here?
Ask anyone who ever had anything to do with repairing modern jets, and he will tell you that even with perfectly working peacetime logistics, depot level maintenance is not something that happens fast, and it goes doubly for the more complicated combat jets.

It was a direct, yes or no question.
What makes you competent to say that diagnostics and repair of military aircraft takes n amount of time, and that some lighter repairs and maintenance and airworthyness checks can not be done in several days to several weeks?

What does this have to do with livings shields, if anything?
More reeing on social media because the evil Russians have hit an airport that is used to fly refugees out and receive humanitarian aid, maybe?

Its a direct "none of your bloody business on a public internet forum" answer.
Yes, I am sure you have been in over 9000 sorties with Russian MiGs and you are probably Poland's best pilot.
Hell, the Ghost of Kiev must be you but in disguise. :ROFLMAO:

Such minor repairs are by definition not depot level maintenance. AKA don't need such facility.
Oh, really?
How many functional airfields do the Ukies have at the moment?

The Russians did hit them pretty hard and took out a lot of their airforce with the start of the campaign, they have taken out things like radar towers and the like ever since.
Maybe, just maybe, the civilian airport and/or that repair facility can be used as an impromptu base for military aircraft.

EDIT: back to my response to @strunkenwhite if you look into Zelensky and his cabinet/inner circle, well a lot of them are actors, screen writers, and other assorted entertainment busness people, aka just the type of media whores who delight in this type of theater.

That is not the purpose of a living shield unless it affects the behavior of the Russians.

And I mean fundamentally the premise that an airplane repair facility is situated close to an airport for "human shield" purposes and not ... airplane purposes ... is preposterous unless you can back it up with more than 100% pure speculation. [edit: Even if it was true, when were these facilities built? Would you be blaming the Soviet Union for this human shield plan?]

Fuck functional airfields, you think no one ever thought of the problem of "in modern war everyone has cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and other fancy long range weapons like that, while everyone knows where airfields are, and some can even make photos from sats to see if there are precious, vulnerable warplanes there at the moment, what do"?
Wonder why would they train doing that, certainly not to do it during a war...
Yeah, you also need flight crews, resupply depots, ground control, etc.
Do I need to fig up the photos of burned out and wrecked Ukrainian aircraft for you?

Again, there are other potential explanations, like for example all of the pilots that underwent the highway take-off and landing training got killed already.

Well, their MO thus far has been, stick your military in hospitals and kindergartens and populated areas, like when they put artillery between apartment buildings.

Then, when those get hit ree about the brutality of the Russians.
So, basically damned if you do and damned if you don't.
Twatter/Facebook circus always.

Ukrainians committing war crimes.

"International" community: I see nothing.

Because there's nothing there?

It's rather obvious on close up that's a stand or mic pole of some sort, not a gun.

Russians attacking a legitimate (if morally grey) target.

"International" community: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Yup, that's sure a nice completely unworn patch they pulled out of their pockets.

Is it a war crime? I don't think claims of being press are legally restricted in the same way symbols indicating medics and medical vehicles are restricted by Geneva Convention.
Also it could even be actual press, its pretty common for press in warzones to have armed security.
Funnily enough no, at worst it just invalidates that person's press protections.

Resolution 2222 approved by the United Nations Security Council on 27 May 2015, which extends and strengthens Resolution 1738 passed in 2006, reminds all parties in an armed conflict of their obligations to respect those who work in the media and protect them against all forms of violence.

Yes, journalists are protected, but...
Is impersonating journalists specifically forbidden?
For comparison, Hague Regulations specifically forbid improper use of symbols recognized for use by medics.
