Greece was also under the control of a military dictatorship from 1967 to 1974 and still hosts a far right wing fascist party so frankly they can take their ~opinions~ and blow it out of their hairy Grecian asses as far as I'm concerned. The difference is they're in a position of government to influence change which includes bitching about whoever Zelensky brings with them to gather support even if that tag a long claims to be Greek and has a grandfather who fought against the Nazis they'll revoke his representation privileges out of muh Nazis.

Digging further leaving aside the Azov issue, Zelensky wasn't very good at drumming support there suffice to say he fucked up even more with the Cypriots.

As was in his interest. It's not like Cyprus was going to send him massive support if he did a good job. More likely he would get jack shit anyway considering the money connections Cyprus has with Russia. Even if Cyprus wanted to help, it wouldn't have means to provide major military help, the most it could do would be to sever the money ties with Russia, which is too much to ask. Shit talking Turkey on the other hand could have lost him a lot of support he was getting already.

Like there's always stories of Russian shelling and missile blowing up Ukrainian civilians including children, but I skim over 95% of it because it always happens and everyone I assume is aware of it. Like the last time I posted of civilians being slaughtered by Russian strikes I think was a story of a strike in the Odessa region that hit a Childrens Medical facility. I thought it was interesting enough to post not because it hit a Childrens Hospital, but because it was a Childrens Hospital linked to the Moldovan Health Services which made it seem a bit more notable.

I could post more about random civilians being blown up but I don't think it'll add much to the discussion (durr dead civilians makes me angry durr) and could lead to something ridiculous like competition posting of 'war crimes' or some shit. And it really doesn't serve the news generation about the ongoing Invasion since civilian casualties are unfortunately a result of the actual conflict, though the scale of it can be disputed and its morality or whatever.
