The Americas Apparently, US Seen as Biggest Threat to Democracy Than China and Russia?

Not sure if trustworthy because it's the Guardian, but... yeah. (Edit: Move the video back 10 seconds or so from the starting point. My bad, there).

Apparently having a Senile Old Twat, a Shadowy Kamala Presidency, and the Democrats/Leftards/Communists/Anti-White Racists/Woketards going nuts in America has made a massive impact on people's view of America.

Unsurprising.

So did a Chinese guy fuck this guys wife or something? Anyway yes I can see why America would be seen as a bigger threat to democracy than China or Russia. Those two nations are merely threats to either Eastern Europe or east Asia. While America is involved everywhere from South America to Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, etc. it is the world hyper power.

China Uncensored pretty much exposes China's rot. It's a great news channel, even if it's humourous in tone (he tried serious reporting apparently, but it was adding hilarity to his reporting that caught people's attention so he could inform people).

The fact that the variety of toxic boils in America at the moment are seen as bigger threats to democracy and the West than Russia (though admittedly they're de-fanged and just mostly want to be left alone, these days) and China (literal fucking Eastern Nazis, spouting racial superiority and with concentration camps and all) is... concerning.

How many nations has China invaded recently how many nations have they bombed how many nations have they ruined? Note by ruined bribing corrupt politicians and ceos for favorable trade deals isn’t ruining. While America frequently used force to destroy nations and turn them into war torn hellscapes either directly like in Iraq, or indirectly like in Syria. America is a bigger threat to world peace than China sorry. And by the way to call the internment of Uighers genocide is laughable if China wanted they could put them into actual death camps like the Nazis, instead they do what America did with the Japanese. How many uighers are there anyway if China did genocide them would it even match America’s record at killing in the Middle East? Anyway America has done all the atrocities China has done i its history from concentration camps to rape and torture of prisoners, so it doesn’t really have the moral high ground.

Like even if the Chinese were Nazis why should other nations on the other side of the world care? How will that affect Spain or Italy or Mexico. These nations don’t want to be part of some Coalition for liberalism. As long as the Nazis keep their crimes in their own borders and don’t go invading others they aren’t a threat to democracy. But if some hypothetical powerful nation is going around and funding coups and helping destabilize other nations for political, Economic, or cultural reasons that is a bigger threat to democracy.

A testament to the power of media control. LGBT pride and BLM stuff is pushed on Google and Youtube and Twitter, but Uyghur concentration camps are not. Snowden and Assange exposed shocking revelations that - if they were made public in the 70s or 80s - would have resulted in a massive government crackdown and a huge number of resignations, impeachments, and convictions, and yet the public hardly knows of these revelations.

The Left took control of the narrative unimpeded by the Right. They infiltrated Hollywood while the Right did nothing. They infiltrated corporations and began changing company culture through the hiring department, hiring their friends and refusing to hire anyone who didn't align with their views. Corporations want to have access to China's huge marketplace so they kiss the CCP's ass.

Oh the infiltration of Hollywood was a long time thing before the 70s think more 50s McCarthy tried to stop it sadly he failed, say what you will about the Chinese at least they know some oversight over the media is good otherwise you will face the corruption of your people and culture.

...Seriously? Mate, I'm honestly facepalming here.
Edit: And your second post just made me speechless. Wow. Are you seriously saying the sort-of shit the Nazis did and what the Chinese are doing right now are fine because it's inside their own borders? What the fuck, man?

  1. Tibet. Attempted "salami slicing" of Indian territory. South China Sea. 'nuff said.
  2. They're literally using the Uighers as slave labour, gang-raping them, "reassigning" their husbands/wives so they can birth "Chinese" children, mass-harvesting their organs, and literally committing genocide against their culture by destroying landmarks, mosques, and attempted, constant brainwashing. Forced sterilization. Need more examples?
  3. How many death camps does America have at the moment? And no, the crises at the Border don't count, as the people being detained there, albeit in poor conditions, aren't being raped, murdered, having their organs harvested, or being used for slave labour by the American authorities, et cetera.
  4. Yes, I disagree with a lot of America's actions, like the Middle-East. Amusingly enough, Trump did more to help peace there and in the Far East (such as between the Koreas) than Biden, who has actually caused more conflict/troops to be deployed. But while America has done stupid shit and has its own issues, it's not a malevolent, civilization-wide cancer
I know you're big into the "countries/America should be isolationist/completely self-sufficient" spiel, but the real-world doesn't work like that. Each country, and this is since antiquity, has interests beyond its own borders, such as trade, resources, alliances.

Please, take a walk in the real-world.

*glances at thread title*

I was unaware that the United States destroyed the vibrant democracies of Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Nazi Germany.
Cute I was talking about destroying nations not democracies. Any nation would be leery at another nation getting involved in the internal affairs of another nation. Because not all democracies want the same thing. But the US has been involved in overthrowing democratically elected governments.

Yes I can read thread titles and participate in topics I choose after making a minimum of effort in engaging the OP and the like instead of talking about whatever the hell I want when I want.

Just because I want to talk about the American Civil War all the time doesnt mean I'm going to break in here and talk about how Abraham Lincoln suspended habeas corpus and cringe whine about how illegal the War of Northern Aggression was.

Like it's super easy to open a thread here. You can just go to the top of the forum and be like "Internal Genocide: Who Gives a Shit?" and boom, discuss.

Yes as long as Nazi Germany does not try to invade other nations they should be left alone.

As for your 3rd point I did not say death camps I said internment the same way the Japanese were in ww2. I am doubting that the Chinese camps are extermination camps because if they wanted the Uighers dead they would be and nothing could stop them unless America went to war.

As for your last point I understand we have interests outside the nation, but if you want to convince me to support a hawkish attitude towards another state talk about our interests and how it will require strong actions. Don’t bring up “Oh they are treating Muslims badly, oh they are putting gays in mental asylums.” I don’t give a fuck about human rightswhen our people whine about it it annoys me as much as when the liberals whine about structural racism, or how we have to confront our racist past and get rid of confederate statues. Fuck virtue signaling I don’t care if the Chinese oppress Muslims, and when the same people who become cheerleaders for Israel and argue for us to do more nation building it makes it very suspicious:

Anyways having actually bothered watching the video for a minute (and going back ten seconds even as recommended) the Commentator literally only talks about Chinas internal policies when compared to America's in regards to the poll.

So I mean... All the issues in America aside... Yes I agree that China is less Democratic then then America. And so is Russia as the video Commentator postulated.

And I'm not seeing any arguments being advanced that America is more of a threat to Democracy (at least in the past decade or two) then Russia or China as what the thread topic and presumably the poll is about.

What if that was your land that China was expanding into, your people who were being rounded up and being slowly eliminated? Well obviously I think you would, but the point is that China isn't going to discriminate who they go after. They're a threat to everyone.
Yes if I was an Uigher I would care lol. But is China expanding into a new region and conquering it, or have the Uighers always been under Chinese control even when it was an empire and now they are having problems? Also this isn’t that good of an argument I mean what if you were an Iraqi wouldn’t you think Americans are evil for ruining your nation and making chaos where before it was order? Brutal order and corrupt for sure Sadaam was not nice but living under his is better than the shithole it is now with a puppet democracy held up by America being savaged by ISIS and other terrorists. I don’t think America is evil because I am American I want what is best for it. If I was Iraqi I’d want what is best for Iraq. If I was Chinese I’d support China. I do have sympathy for the Muslims though, I’m not heartless even if they were Jihadis they are better than godless communists atheist cultural revolutionists. Anyway the reason I may have sounded aggressive is because for me it seems obvious why other nations would see America as a greater threat than China, so I said it. If you weren’t American and were not in east Asia China isn’t a threat to you it’s military won’t go into the Middle East or Europe or the Americas it’s a giant nation with a huge population and it’s power is in trade but they don’t care how other nations run their internal affairs.

Eh, Hyper power status really only lasted a decade or two. Once geo-economic competition set in hard, we shifted toward multi-polar and the US was back to Superpower status.

It’s not multi polar yet it would take 20 to 40 years for China to achieve military parity with us where they could beat us in a no holds barred fight in the Pacific. And that’s assuming the Chinese continue to rise. While people have predicted China collapsing I think that is ridiculously optimistic. Now it platueing where it is and not being able to rise anymore I think is much more realistic so China would end up being a minor regional power, but a great economic power. Think Germany just bigger. So there is a decent chance America still retains being super power status since no one can beat our army.

I assume you mean states, and not nations.

But right now? Not many. But it isn't for a lack of trying, but rather a lack of reach and ability.

Note by ruined bribing corrupt politicians and ceos for favorable trade deals isn’t ruining.

That actually can ruin countries. China has already tried using cheap capital investment and building projects to force other states into a subservient position. The fact that it doesn't work is because China lacks the means of enforcing debt collection.

While America frequently used force to destroy nations and turn them into war torn hellscapes either directly like in Iraq, or indirectly like in Syria.

You're only telling half the story.

Iraq fell apart due to American mismanagement after the war. Because Bush couldn't comprehend that Iraq is not a nation-state, but a state that imposes its will upon several different national identities. Hence, it requires a dictator to remain stable. When Bush removed the dictator and tried to introduce democracy, it basically ignited internal conflict. The Iranians then built upon that in order to undermine Iraq as a rival state and to reduce American influence.

As for Syria, that's more complicated. Syria was already in a state of civil war, again because a local dictator controls various ethnic groups. Russia, for their own geo-political goals, moved in and "helped" the Syrians by shifting the war from one that involved static combat with defensible positions, into a mobile conflict that the Syrians were not good at. Then ISIS swept in. Then the US came in and tried to stabilize the region, which means picking sides, which means picking the Kurds. Which meant plummeting relations with the Syrians and the Turks.

America is a bigger threat to world peace than China sorry.

That's true. But NOT because the US likes to interfere. The US's idea of interfering in the Middle East was to introduce stability. That it backfired was due to naivety on American politicians, malicious intent by local powers such as Iran and Saudi Arabia, and lines drawn up by former European powers who had taken the land from the Ottomans and didn't care who liked who. The US's whole point for the past seventy years has been to keep the region at a simmering boil, instead of allowing it to explode.

The US will become the greatest threat to world peace not because it likes to interfere with other countries. Because it's geopolitical strategy was aimed at producing peace and the status quo. WAS. The US is stepping down from that role intentionally and when it does so, the system that it put in place will implode, setting off wars and conflicts that the US held back through intervention.

And by the way to call the internment of Uighers genocide is laughable if China wanted they could put them into actual death camps like the Nazis, instead they do what America did with the Japanese. There is really no good way to spin what is happening with China and its minorities. The fact that they're doing this out of mislead realist pragmatism is not any better than Germany doing it out of disgust for Jews or America doing it out of paranoia of Japanese attacks.
