Honestly, it’s only in relatively recent years that I ever heard of Right-Wing Types proposing Private Charity as a substitute for Welfare Bills
Or that the reason why they’re so against regulations, taxes & unions forming is because its the smaller companies that can’t handle them and the big ones either can tank them or use it as an excuse to go to cheaper places for production
Or that they have their own methods of helping the environment whilst making a buck
Making the Right’s “arguments” for them instead of really letting them talk and debating whether or not it would work, is something that really helped make them seem sane

American Conservatives have been making all of them for literal decades. I suspect the reason you've only heard them more recently, is a mixture of leaving echochambers, and the non-left internet commentary community growing steadily.

Just like the 13th Amendment, the 14th Amendment, the Enforcement Act(Repealed by Democrats), and had the Susan B. Anthony bill blocked by Dems(just like when Dems filibustered a 1922 bill to make lynching illegal). This is a nonsensical view.
