So going back to the past two updates while us saving the Prime Minister is well and good and all. This guy has proven to be dedicated to killing the PM he will come back we all known that I'm of the opinion we start tracking him down with Saber and Shirou and if push comes to shove saber can guard the PM while we assist the government in tracking the assassin. I feel it's too much of a risk if we let him keep trying to kill the PM and gives him too much control of a situation better to hunt him down before a third attempt.
So next turn we big reveal Saber as our partner and double team the villain with Super Lovey Family combo then?

Yeah pretty much this assassin is extremely dangerous better to grab saber and assists the government with hunting him down. Also has the benefit of showing us together and showing both the government and the greater populace that we are a super powered couple fighting for the right side of the law.

@Speaker4thesilent I'm thinking a bit about magitech and detecting invisible enemies, would it be possible to make a visor designed for say thermal imaging, and possibly being upgradable to something like an alchemical optical enhancement (or a life energy detector, I think that was part of the sailor mercury visor)? If it is possible what would be the initial requirements? If it is possible, I am guessing it won’t be easy to make something that will work for a non-magical person so thinking in terms of Shirou’s personal gear

I’m thinking that because he has craft magitech, weapons and armour, that well magitech weapons will often have some sort of targeting options, and magitech armour might well have its own sensors.

On the other hand, he doesn’t actually have a workshop set up, but he does know a friendly tinker.

Edit: I'm guessing there will also be degrees of workshop, from decent hidden basement, to actually labs and factorys, to factory cathedral equivealent and some things would require a certain grade of workshop

Hm, separately any chance Saber will be able to unlock her shield? Or develop abilities related to her dragon core?

So do you think a entirely different system might be put into place then?

We could help develop such a system. Also remember the rating aren't really for powers but to give an idea as to what the threat level and hence response is. We might be able to improve the system, I feel separating brute strength, extreme toughness and regeneration makes sense.

On the other hand, the worm system is fairly easy to remember so is good for quick explanations

Since people are talking about tracking down the tech assassin, I wonder how would we track them

Also, Saber has already been introduced to the police.

... Wait the assassin might have left stuff behind, such as the bullet, maybe we could gain information about say where it was made, what type of gun fired it... I doubt we could get the name... although if it is a tinker tech bullet, hm.

Hm we have

On the Scent(Permanent): With a successful (Perception + Survival) roll, Shirou uses his enhanced senses to pick up on the almost-invisible traces of a foe’s trail. May be contested by a (Wits + Stealth) roll if the target is a Thinker or a Stranger with an applicable ability.

Okay my thoughts for how to add extra security

0) Talk with Saber first and see what insights she has, she was the head of government in a time where magic, and hence magical assassination methods, were a real issue.
1) Dogs, what a human can't see or hear an animal such as a dog might be able to smell.
2) Ask about thermal imagining and if they have anything that could be used. Even if it isn't practical now someone in the future might make similar tech or gain similar abilities so noticing differences in heat might work. Mention that as we don't know how their stealth suit works, we might not be able to use it to detect this assassin but others in the future might be vulnerable. Other methods like echolocation might be worth developing in the future
3) Suggest that they keep door shut, and develop signals so that people who are supposed to enter an area can let the guards know they are entering (and if they are under duress). Basically, makes it so if a door is opened guards know to react... even if the first reaction is not to attack (first reaction should actually be to radio a door has been opened). It is important that all of the regular staff know what they should and shouldn’t be doing
4) Ponder if there are any powders that can be easily thrown if they have reason to suspect someone’s invisible in an area, something that will remain in the air and get displaced by say someone moving, or better yet something that will settle on the invisible person making them visible.
5) If they get in, have plans in place to rapidly close escape route, preferably in such a way that they can be funnelled towards a group of security
6) See if Shirou can have a look at the bullet fired, it might be possible to gather information on the history of the bullet, who made it and what sort of gun fired it, allowing someone to track it down. There might also be remnants from the grenades. These details can probably help the police and secret service track down who got the items, there might be other items left behind.
7) Suggest they investigate places that a suitable portable power source might be acquired, after all the stealth field will have some sort of power supply. Perhaps see if the pistol can be tracked, presumably they have learnt to use it somewhere,
8) If they left anything behind perhaps a dog could be used to track their scent
9) Try and track the path they used to enter and exit perhaps you could find them that way, or clues they left behind
10) Mention that other people will probably need equivalent security, such as the royal family and other high-ranking member of the government, civil service, judges, armed forces, etc.

Also, separate note, doesn't the prime minister normally live at 10 downing street, so we can actually state where they live, in which case we as a player base can have a look at the floor plan.

Given that we just created Walkman equivalents, what is our next patent?
I was rereading the thread and was just wondering if we had chosen anything.

We really should get around to that.

Hey guys, since Saber already works in a sales with vehicles, want to just pass if off to her? As she is the face lady and we do want to get a good sell on it.

I forgot to update the character sheet after I awarded an exp. I only realized it after the fact. Instead of seven, you guys were sitting at eight.
Hm, is it still possible for us to vote for a dot in socialise before the next update, or do we need to wait? Some of us were talking about that being the next pick and the reason we didn't vote for it previously was that we assumed we had seven... and performance seemed more important for our job.

Edit: never mind the next update is a voting update so an extra dot of socialise matters less.

We can always add upgrading our socialize skill into whatever plan we vote for next turn.
