So you’re going to search all of Cornwall for a person who may or may not exist, may or may not have powers, and whose habits you know nothing about other than ‘in Cornwall,’ and ‘stops crimes?’

Sure. I’ll let you try that.
Hey, at least we managed to narrow it down to Cornwall instead of the entirety of Britian. Surely that's an improvement, right? :V

Wow i'd missed this had updated and it was amazing. We have four three actions but Given the near mandatory have a good relationship and dates that leaves three and I would like to put at least one each into each job. Innovating Tea isn't something I know enough to build a stunt around but it looks like the best Ritz option and Setting Down Roots almost has to be the other job option. We need the building before we have a place to put the staff and build a bureaucracy after all. I'd probably have the last option be either work on the gym or train your super hero's.

No Idea what to do about the experience points though

Ok here is my bare-bones plan

[ ] - the balanced option. (3 dots of income for two months. Same as above, but reduces training time required by fifty percent. Expensive, but saves you time and thus AP.)

[ ] Plan Albion
-[ ] - Putting on the Ritz. You’ve committed to helping modernize the Ritz’s menu and service. Currently, you think that management would prefer that you work on Lunch or Afternoon Tea. With hiring more staff, there is not currently a budget for remodeling or altering plating.
--[ ] - Innovating Lunch: Cost: 1 AP. Results: Continued development of Fusion Cuisine. (Suggested stunts include what menu item to work on. Please consider combining traditional British and Japanese cooking.)

Decided to change this to lunch is almost as important as dinner and we are liable to get MPs coming through around this time as well.

- [ ] - Working for the Weekend. Arturia was feeling underutilized in the finance department of a motorcycle dealership. Now she’s mostly feeling under-appreciated as she works to get the new Ministry of Parahuman Affairs on its feet while dealing with the setup for the Baker Street Irregulars. Any help you can levy would be appreciated.
--[ ] - Building up a Staff. You’re going to need more than just the two of you to run a ministry. Even a small one. Sorting through the applications to separate out people who just want to coast along and earn a paycheck from people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get to work is time-consuming but necessary. Cost: 1 AP. Results: employees that don’t actively suck.
--[ ] - Setting Down Roots. In addition to a staff, you’re going to need a building to house them. Having Saber on hand at Number 10 is one thing. Trying to pack a whole new ministry into the already crowded building would be quite another. Cost: 1 AP. Results: room to expand. Legitimacy.
--[ ] - Crafting a Bureaucracy. Just the idea makes you feel generally unclean, but you can’t deny that someone is going to need to lay down a plan for how to grow, who is responsible for what, and how many employees you need for any given department. Saber would probably be better at this, but you could fill in in a pinch. Cost: 1 AP. Results: Structure, organization paperwork.
--[ ] - Closer Coordination. Make sure all the police districts in Greater London know that they can contact you when a case takes a turn for the bizarre. Without a staff, keeping up with the calls is likely to be a full-time job in its own right. Cost: 1 AP. Results: Closer relations with police, improved crime deterrent in London. Lower likelihood a small problem becomes a major issue before you learn about it.

Ok here is my bit for the Irregulars we get everything set up including points of contact with the police and the bare bone set up which will take a lot of weight off Sabers shoulders while she wrangles with the civil servants. UK civil servants need to be vetted and we need to avoid getting the worst of the leeches adding to this we need to make sure we also get everything set up sanely and avoid getting the worst bloodsuckers involved with this as well.

Also getting all this done in the first run avoids some problems the PRT and other such groups ran into and also means we can avoid negative outside influences.

-[ ] - Socialize with Arturia. Weekends are for dates, right? Cost: 1 AP. Results: Fluff, WAFF, happy Arturia.

More social since Saber will be as stressed as hell by the end of this week.

-[ ] - Home Improvement. (Locked in due to purchase of the Run-Down Townhouse) You own a home now, or the bank owns it and you’re paying them interest for the pleasure of living in it, anyway. The problem is that it’s going to need to be a construction site for a while as you reopen the closed half of the house and reconfigure everything for your needs. Cost: minimum 1 AP. May be taken multiple times. Results: Access to and renovations and furnishing for the full floorplan of your new house. Home Equity.

- [] 2xp on Bureaucracy.

Ok, I went with dinner instead of going for the Tea option because dinner is usually a fairly big deal and given the way the Ritz has expanded and improved recently I imagine the dinner rush is going to be the most profitable time for them. Building upon this we can hit here while the metal is still hot and work on improving it.

Here I was actually torn I want to keep Saber happy with a day out but on the one hand, we have to set up a whole new ministry and we are both going to be swamped ideally we need to help get the whole thing on its feet which will take a massive load off her shoulders and will prevent the usual snakes in a civil servants suit coming in. By both building the staff with her, securing an actual building and actually making the paperwork make sense since it won't be designed by a civil servant and also establishing structure is even better as well since it gives everyone something to follow.
As it sits, you’ve still got 2 AP to spend. Committed AP means that you have agreed to spend them in a certain category, not that they’ve vanished into the ether.

Just to be sure @Speaker4thesilent, Will Arturia choose action from Working for the Weekend list? Or does she have a completely different set of actions to choose from in regard to the ministry?
Also, what would be our position in the ministry once we take our full job? I looked it up and vice minister don’t seem to be a thing in Britain.

I'm liking Kelgar plan since it has us focus on the new ministry and still spend time with Arturia which is a win win to me.
I'm confused why he wants to do dinner when the Ritz specifically said that they want us to innovate tea.

Since we have four free AP, here is what I propose based off Mrbirthday plan;

[ ] - the balanced option. (3 dots of income for two months. Same as above, but reduces training time required by fifty percent. Expensive, but saves you time and thus AP.)

-[ ] - How to Train Your Superhero. You’ve got two recruits, and neither of them are ready to do much of anything. Take some time to show them the ropes and get them started on the path towards usefulness. Cost: 1 AP. Results: Competent employees.

[ ] - A Patent, Pending. Your patent lawyer recommended that you contact Sony to license your patents to them. In order to do that, you’re going to need to demonstrate that they work. That means building examples, which means time and money. Cost: 2 AP. A 2-dot expense. Results: Working examples of your inventions. Probably annoyed neighbors, given your current living arrangements. You may want to finish fixing up your house and get a workshop set up first.

[ ] - Socialize with Arturia. Weekends are for dates, right? Cost: 1 AP. Results: Fluff, WAFF, happy Arturia.

Pretty much what I was saying before, just added the patent, We suck at bureaucracy, so taking bureaucratic option right now will probably just make things more difficult for Arturia, we might as well take care of the Patent that has been waiting forever.

Arturia will be working off the same list as Shirou is. Additionally, as it is after noon, voting is now open.

[X] - the balanced option. (3 dots of income for two months. Same as above, but reduces training time required by fifty percent. Expensive, but saves you time and thus AP.)

[X] Plan Albion
-[X] - Putting on the Ritz. You’ve committed to helping modernize the Ritz’s menu and service. Currently, you think that management would prefer that you work on Lunch or Afternoon Tea. With hiring more staff, there is not currently a budget for remodeling or altering plating.
--[X] - Innovating Lunch: Cost: 1 AP. Results: Continued development of Fusion Cuisine. (Suggested stunts include what menu item to work on. Please consider combining traditional British and Japanese cooking.)
---Japan like the UK is a Island nation and has access to various fish markets put your skills to the test by making various dishes then place them in front of saber having swaped out various ingredients then have her taste test and describe what its like to you. Ingredients swapped can be like replacing lemon with Yuzu or altering the batter on the fish and chips to make it lighter.
---Do something similar for meat dishes use local suppliers and hour own skill in the kitchen to make combinations of British and Japanese dishes. Do a Japanese fusion on a traditional Sunday lunch along with others such as lamb shank, Indian chicken curry, hot pot ectra. Again have Saber taste test the various dishes to refine them.
---Whittle them down to the best dish using Sabers superior taste! Then have the staff try them and see if they are menu worthy.
- [X] - Working for the Weekend.
--[X] - Building up a Staff.
---For setting up the department you will need to test the people you are going to be hiring for this arrange a psychometric test with the assistance of others to test the deductive reasoning and other mental skills of the individuals. If they pass this test they will go in for an interview with Arturia, you and two others from the MoD and the Home Office preferably from MI5. After that, there will also be the standard security background check as well to avoid any infiltration by a hostile power or criminal element.
---Once this is all done the will be assigned to a department based on the relative skill set and previous experience any shortfalls should be made up via training. This can be done by speaking with various other Ministries and asking for assistance and arranging agreements between each for reciprocal training when the department is up and running.
--[X] - Setting Down Roots. In addition to a staff, you’re going to need a building to house them. Having Saber on hand at Number 10 is one thing. Trying to pack a whole new ministry into the already crowded building would be quite another. Cost: 1 AP. Results: room to expand. Legitimacy.
---With the Empire, a fading memory quite a few old buildings are left empty see if it’s possible. Failing that see if you can secure a space for your people in an old government Building like Admiralty House or speak to the Navy about acquiring use of The Admiralty Citadel.
--[X] - Crafting a Bureaucracy.
--- Bureaucracy is the bane of any organisation but needed to make it run as with anything. Look at other Ministries and the MoD system come up with a simple and adaptable that is flexible and easy to understand. This will be constantly changing throughout the organisation since you are relatively new so its ideal to avoid an over-complicated structure.
--- In terms of a rank structure take and adapt it from the Metropolitan the Irregulars are a non-military group we must show ourselves to be accountable as well as come up with serial numbers for nonpowered members of the group to be accountable.
---For Organisational matters, each region of the United Kingdom set up a Division with Division 12 based out of London being the Headquarters with the Backup site located up in Glasgow under the name Division 1. Each Department will be made up of Groups that will be sent out to specific areas to both support the local police and other government groups in the area and work with them in dealing with any Parahumans that appear. Overall it will be broken down into 12 divisions each covering a part of the UK with a Division 13 and 14 to cover the United Kingdoms overseas territory.
---On top of this there will be four departments that are not attached to any region they will be Department ‘R’ – Research responsible for looking into powers and tech developed by parahumans as well as dealing with organisation-wide logistics, Department ‘L’ – Liaison responsible for maintaining communication with the various arms of government and other powers agencies, Department ‘P’ – Incarceration works with Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service to incarcerate Parahumans and Department ‘I’ intelligence that will work with MI5, MI6, DI and GCHQ on intelligence and counterintelligence on parahuman threats.
--[X] - Closer Coordination.
---Use the previous relationship established with the MET and the City of London Police look at arranging Liaison officers to be exchanged between each other and work to develop a close relationship with the MET. Make it clear we are here to support them and work to establish clear lines of communication with the heads of the various Branches of the MET and City of London police.
-[X] - Socialize with Arturia. Weekends are for dates, right? Cost: 1 AP. Results: Fluff, WAFF, happy Arturia.
--- Look at taking a trip outside of London see if you can head to St Albans for the day to relax away from London after dealing with trying to set up a new Ministry. Just to get out of the city for a day will be a breath of fresh air for both of you.
-[X] - Home Improvement. (Locked in due to purchase of the Run-Down Townhouse) You own a home now, or the bank owns it and you’re paying them interest for the pleasure of living in it, anyway. [X] Plan Steady as she goes.
-[X] - the balanced option. (3 dots of income for two months. Same as above, but reduces training time required by fifty percent. Expensive, but saves you time and thus AP.)

-[X] - Putting on the Ritz. You’ve committed to helping modernize the Ritz’s menu and service. Currently, you think that management would prefer that you work on Lunch or Afternoon Tea. With hiring more staff, there is not currently a budget for remodeling or altering plating.
--[X] - Innovating Tea: Cost: 1 AP. Results: Continued development of Fusion Cuisine. (Suggested stunts include what menu item to work on. Please consider combining traditional British and Japanese cooking.)

-Tea is serious business, both in Japan and Britain, so when looking into a way to fusion the two, you should work on two major axis, the tea itself, and the tradition surrounding it, you highly doubt that the extremely stiff way of tea of Japan would be popular in Britain, but perhaps some aspect of it could be «Britified» so to speak.
The most important thing to introduce to make fusion tea is the introduction of green tea, unfortunately, it is also the most difficult part.
British people are very particular about their tea, such that someone drinking green tea would raise eyebrow, event amongst middle-classe tea drinkers.
To tackle this problem, you should try and move away from the Japanese tradition of pure herbal tea in order to try and bridge the gape between Japanese and British palate. Introducing milk would be a good way to do so, the milk should be carefully considered, from texture to taste and temperature so that not only could green tea be appreciated as familiar yet novel, but that the health benefit of the it stay as unaltered as possible.
You should not hesitate to draw on your personal experience and taste testing to see which variety of green tea would work best in your situation.
A special room should be prepared for the prepared for the tea time, similar to the Japanese traditional tea room, but instead made in the traditional british way, with victorian style british furniture and cultural object like painting and sculpture put troughout the room, perhaps the customers would appreciate a unified dress codes?
Some fusion cuisine side-dish to accompany the differing taste of green and black tea should also be researched and prepared to maximize client satisfaction, perhaps by playing with rice cake recipes, Japanese style sweets like Mochi, Manjū, Dango and Daifuku to mention some, and then see if they can be tailored to British tastes in a fusion and how to marry them with cream and jam, or perhaps even see if those can be replace by adzuki bean paste in some places.

-[X] - Working for the Weekend.
--[X] - Setting Down Roots. In addition to a staff, you’re going to need a building to house them. Having Saber on hand at Number 10 is one thing. Trying to pack a whole new ministry into the already crowded building would be quite another. Cost: 1 AP. Results: room to expand. Legitimacy.

-There is plenty of places that have become run down and abandoned due the economic situation in Britain, you should tour such facilities to find one of appropriate size for the requirement of a ministry as defined by your wife, since she is the minister after all and the one that would know most about such things.
Even if the buildings visited are in a sorry state, it is not a problem as long as they are still structurally sound according to your own experience and structural analysis. In fact, the more it look like ruins, the better the price you’ll be able to get, giving you more budget for the next phase of the work; renovation work, you’ll do this the same way you choose the building; using structural analysis and your own judgement based on experience to find out what need doing, and how to bring things up to the specification of such a peculiar ministry, if necessary you’ll hire some architects to help you work out the particular.
When it come to the work itself, you’ll hire some down on their lucks worker around London, there’s a lot of those going around because of the current state of the economy, and it’s always nice to help people in need get some honest paying work when things are rough.
Of course, with you being who you are, you’ll do something no other vice-minister(?) would do; you’ll work hand on, Alongside the construction site workers, using your tremendous strength and skills to the fullest to help out, bonus point if you mingle with them, eating homemade lunch and sharing simple story over a meal.

--[X] - How to Train Your Superhero. You’ve got two recruits, and neither of them are ready to do much of anything. Take some time to show them the ropes and get them started on the path towards usefulness. Cost: 1 AP. Results: Competent employees.

-It’s Important to keep in mind when training those people that fighting shouldn’t necessarily be your first go to option, perhaps they desire a less violent role or aren’t suited for it.
Regardless, before starting any training, you should first find out what make their power tick, what are their limits? Is there any commonality between then? How did they get said powers? How hard is it to control them? Any side effect? Etc....
You lack the capacity and facilities to find look into it in-depth, but any information you can gather will help you design a training plan for them and help you guide them toward a productive use of their capabilities.
This should all ideally take place somewhere out of prying eyes, in a military base for example.

-[X] - A Patent, Pending.

-You shall politely ask Mr. Port if he would mind sharing his workshop with you for some time, obviously you will tell him that this is purely hobbyists work and has nothing to do with the ministry work, you are not one to abuse power after all.
If he accept, you shall simply buy the material and get to building.
If he refuse, well, you are now a vice-minister(?) in the British government, you’ve got to be able to find a workshop somewhere right?

-[X] - Socialize with Arturia. Weekends are for dates, right? Cost: 1 AP. Results: Fluff, WAFF, happy Arturia.

-You’ll take Arturia do something she always liked to do before; Horseback riding, the two of you will spend a weekend to ride through the countryside enjoying the sight and nature, you’ll make sure to look up the itinerary and prepare camping equipment and food to eat outdoor.
Of course, first of all, you’ll have to find someone willing to lend two horses to young, urbanite people for a week end...

-[X] - Home Improvement. (Locked in due to purchase of the Run-Down Townhouse) You own a home now, or the bank owns it and you’re paying them interest for the pleasure of living in it, anyway.

I am open to people writing in stunt.
Also not sure if the stunt is ok, It has been a while afterall.

Hey I just added some stuff in to add some more detail in to try and establish them as stunts and give speaker some ideas. Could I get some peoples thoughts?
Is there any way I can convince you to switch out the Ritz action from lunch to tea? Us doing lunch when the restaurant wants us to focus on tea is bugging me so much.
