Sounds good. Not to rock the boat. But the whole patent thing went a bit quickly IMO. The lawyer had the original patent to compare to the new patent on hand. He then declared that the patent would be issued. Pretty sure it does not work that way. Bureaucracy never is that quick.

Bureaucracy isnt moving fast, the Lawyer is which is what he is paid to do.
They likely discussed what would be patented when they set up the meeting so he could pull the current patents, and he just had to look over the old and new designs to see if it was different enough. The patent itself hasn't actually been issued, the process to get it issued was started.
