Be careful of statistics you get on any subject. More often than not statistics have been proven bunk across the board. I mean look how many statistics were flat out false in the last 10 years alone. You can't say the government can do noting right then have faith in agencies or contracted groups they use to track stuff. The best we can do is just wait for what the actual situation that is gonna happen to manifest.
I tried to tell @History Learner but he doubled-down on stupid analytics, so I blocked him for awhile

>listing things that had absolutely nothing to do with him

At that point, why vote for him then if he is too ineffectual to enact his signature campaign pledges?

I am NOT giving up on the South. Minorities are moving into this region at a faster rate!

Now if you're referring to the major cities undergoing massive gentrification like Austin, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; Montgomery, Alabama, etc., I might agree with you.

Asians have a TFR of around 1.3 and Hispanics now regularly vote at 30-40% Republican, with indications that will grow. As for the Black vote in the wider South:

We also have pretty strong evidence that White voters will, on average, become more conservative with time:

He was literally in the middle of dealing with 3 federal investigations into him? There isn't a president on earth that can do anything in that atmosphere. The dude was impeached twice.

And from January of 2017 to January of 2019, he had control of the Presidency, the Supreme Court and both chambers of Congress. If you think Federal investigations somehow impeded legislation from passing, then how did he get his Tax bill through? If you think federal investigations are that impeding then I ask again, why vote for him because do you really think they won't do more if he's reelected? It's just coping; be honest with yourself about his limitations or failings (whichever suits you best to view the wider issue through) and then move on from there.

Honestly, the funniest take away from this election to me for those on the Right is that the two main schools of thought since 2020 got disproved; it's not fraud and it's not demographics, it's bad candidates, bad strategy and bad platforms. Not even the abortion issue can explain it fully; Kentucky almost passed tougher restrictions and the Pro Life position went from 28% support in the Summer to 45% by election day in Michigan. Even CNN conceded that, in Red states, there wasn't much evidence for Dobbs being that big of a deal to voters.

So speaking of the senate, they are going to have a vote tonight on the War Powers resolution in Yemen. If you want the US to stop supporting our terrorists vs their terrorists in Yemen, now is a great time to call your representatives at 1-833-STOP-WAR.

EDIT: Sometimes that doesn't work because the system isn't perfect, if you need help, just PM me, I will find your representative, senators, and their office numbers.

This is false. He never had control of Congress or the Court. The Republican Congress (ie. establishment) fought him all the way. And the idea that Trump controlled the SCOTUS is hilarious.

Wait a minute, why are we even bothering? HL is a commie RPing as a republican in this thread.

Sadly, I have to report that Bernie has pulled the vote out of fear of getting a no after the White House whipped senators to campaign against it. He's gonna try to rewrite it slightly to get White House approval (that won't happen). It's just depressing. The pictures of the starving shilderen are just horrifying. And we are doing this. That's what your tax money goes to pay for: to starve Yemeni children to death.

I'm just depressed. Why does the US keep perpetrating these horrors? Seriously, the hell goes through someone's head that justifies this?

Still, if people want to call 1-833-STOP-WAR to try to get your senators on board, that'd be great. There's now more time, and you can argue it's to spite Obama and Biden I guess. Again, I will help anyone who wants to call their senator/representative (for any reason, but especially to stop war), just PM me if you need help.

You might ask Iran that question too, given they are the ones supplying the other side, including with IRBMs that are fired on Riyad or anti-shipping missiles that have fired on multiple nations ships in the waters around Yemen.

Turns out the US cutting aid/involvement in a conflict does not mean the conflict ends, or that the actions of parties involved will not have knock-on effects for US interests, particularly in busy shipping lanes that have been proven vulnerable to anti-shipping missiles and different varieties of mining efforts.

That you think "Iran's there, so we have to be there" is a valid argument says everything about you. That you think vague 'US interests' are worth this

or this:

tells us everything about where your priorities are. The US government is doing evil, funding Al Qaeda, starving kids. It needs to stop. Damn your 'interests'.

A friend told me how he would deal with this if he was Biden: He would offer Sinema an ambassadorship so that she would not run in 2024 splitting the vote.
First, he jokingly said he would offer her the ambassadorship to Antarctica. Then, he told me that seriously, probably the ambassadorship to the Netherlands as she is of Dutch origin.
Sounds like a good idea.
People on Twitter are taking the idea further by saying that once Katie Hobbs is sworn in, Biden could offer Sinema an ambassadorship and then Katie Hobbs could appoint a Democrat to replace her.

The Netherlands is also VERY LGBTQ+ friendly, and Sinema is bisexual, so it's a good fit for her. I'm surprised that she still hasn't married even though she is already in her 40s.
