No.

I consider unipolarism as fundamentally detrimental to the majority of the Third World nations, which are majority non-white. What do we colored people get out of American unipolarism anyways? Nothing but pure resentment.
Every country that has power will jist make the third world worse.
China will use them as slaves for instance.
US will leave them alone and that's what matters

And you'd be wrong.

Because I hate illegal immigration, hate the wokening of academia and society as a whole, hate the 'you cannot misgender that person or you are going to jail' type attitude of parts of the Dems, the ignoring the jihadi's in their midst (Talib and Omar), the fucking stuff like harassing Master Piece Cake Shop continuously.

I'm a Registered Independent for a reason, and it's because the Dems lost the damn plot; I just didn't see anyone on the Right worth supporting till Trump.

Maybe stop acting like just because I care about the environment, don't hate taxes, and don't hold to all the views of tradcons or establishment GOP that I am just another 'Dem' without a D by my name.

This purity spiral BS a lot of the establishment type/tradcon type in the GOP engage in against independent voters is completely self-defeating. The GOP has to convince independents to vote for it, not act like it is owed their vote, and treating independent's like they are part of the Dems (which you comparison implies) doesn't help things.
Bacle, go back and read what I said instead of knee jerking to what you think I said.

I was saying that the country would be in a much better place if your viewpoints were the mainstream Democrat viewpoints, where YOUR beliefs were what defined the Democrat Party, my views defined more or less the Republican party, while Vyor and Abhorsen defined the major subgroups of the Republicans and Democrats. It was more or less pointless daydreaming of a much more ideal world in which they're still pretty stark and different policy opinions between the parties, but you don't have one party that's basically trying to fundamentally change the US while the other party acts incoherent and incompetent.

Look, I get fucking tired of being called a 'leftist', a 'socialist', or a told I am still a Dem/should still be a Dem in other scenarios, simply because I am not a tradcon/establishment GOP-type or some fringe Libertarian type. I am very much tired of the way people make a lot of assumptions about my life, views, and politics, then tries to stuff me in one box or the other while ignoring what I actually say about where I see myself.

So I felt I had to put a kibosh on that comparison, and vigorously at that.

Because I also see that happening with a lot of people who are independent voters, not just with your comparison here; the GOP just lumps them in with the Dems nearly by default, and effectively just acts like anyone without an R by their name is part of the DNC.

The only thing I'd point out is that government is also a monopoly. Perfect world, I'd love an impartial god smite all the monopolists. In practice? This is used as an excuse to create monopolies.
A monopoly on force, yes, but it's a monopoly under the theoretical control of the people. And a lot of regulations are designed to do that, I'll agree with that.

You, like me, are stuck in a position of asking "is allying with republicans worth it?" What you can't do is what you try to do: fundamentally change what the Republicans believe in to engineer a win for progressive economics, any more than I'll get a win for legalizing heroin. Instead, work on what you can accomplish while within a republican frame of possibility.
I'd be for legalization of that as long as there are sane controls on it.

Oh good Lord, what time portal spat you out from the 50's?
He's correct though, someone needs to keep the peace. Someone is always going to be crazy enough to try and take over the world, one way or another. Right now it's china and russia, in another fifty or a hundred years it might be someone else.

well lets look at the definition.

mongrel

mŏng′grəl, mŭng′-

noun

  1. An animal or plant resulting from various interbreedings, especially a dog of mixed or undetermined breed.
  2. A person of mixed background or descent.
  3. Something that is a mixture or combination of elements.
based on using it as an insult against a person I presume it is the second definition that applies. which seems like a weird thing to criticize someone over.

BREAKING: United States Senator Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) announcing she's NOT seeking reelection this Fall.

Hmmm not sure if this will help or hinder Kari Lake (or Sheriff Mike Lamb) in the general election. Polling indicated that Kysten Sinema running as an independent as she intended would've had her coming in distant third to the Democrat Gallegos and Lake. I'm assuming her dropping out would help Democrats more though, even though Sinema actually did draw her appeal from both Red and Blue voters in that state.

It's too bad, Kyrsten Sinema was basically the prototypical mainstream sane Democrat in the Senate. Other Democratic Senators may seem or sound moderate, but still tacitly give into the Far Left on the Culture Wars and everything else so are basically submitting to them at every opportunity. The only reason the Democrats wanted to oust Kyrsten Sinema is because she dared be contrarian to the far left railroading going on with the Democratic Party in Congress.

Explains why Sinema was chased out of the Democratic Party following the 2022 Midterm elections.

Is he hoping a Republican will be on the jury who'll vote not guilty just for the spoiler candidate? Or maybe this is just his way of clinging to the pretense of innocence while giving up the primary.
Menendez realizes his reelection hopes are already dead. He'll be lucky to avoid federal prison.

Remember the last United States Senator from NJ ,who went to prison ?
