These people fill themselves with drugs that can kill them. Such an ugly body probably gets them excited anyway.

In a move so woke I'm sure half a gender studies class had to brainstorm it DC has decided to turn the latest Wonder Woman graphic novel into a cringe fest of apparently epic proportions, if the summary is something to go by:
He becomes two characters, a black soldier and an Asian doctor, who are a gay married couple.
And that is all you need to know. And just FYI: the Greek refugee camps aren't run by soldiers in reality, but by civilian authorities in conjunction with the UNHCR and a whole bunch of sometimes dubious NGOs.
Literally nobody: Let's make Wonder Woman a pro-refugee (illegal migrant) advocate supported by a gay couple.

I'm not a big Wonder Woman fan or comic book nerd, but I respect Wonder Woman as an icon. I thought Gal Gadot's portrayal of her in the Wonder Woman movie, and directed by Patty Jenkins basically nailed the character, she's essentially from another world of sorts, she's not perfect (though she damn well looks perfect
), she has a difficult time adjusting to the world she's in now, but doesn't turn her back on it or despise it, and struggles to do what she can to make it better. She's powerful, gorgeous, confident, charming, but she still has faults like us "mere mortals", a role model girls can look up to. And Chris Pines interpretation of Steve Trevor was perfect. He's mortal, not without faults of his own, but does his best to help and aid Wonder Woman acclimate to the world she's in now, while being jaded but still true to his own values as an American.So how the hell did she and Steve Trevor go from that, to THIS? Rhetorical question, I know, but god what a crapfest.

Because hedonism has nothing to do with sex. Not really. Based on your own posting, you're a philosophical hedonist just like they are.
You see, hedonism is a moral and ethical philosophy that places self pleasure as the greatest good, and sees anything that hinders the pursuit of self pleasure as a moral evil.
While heterosexual sex CAN be pursued under a hedonist framework, it is not necessarily an essential part of it. Due to the larger Intersectional framework their worldview dwells in, heterosexuality is actually seen as a moral negative, since it creates a world in which morally more valuable people (remember: oppressed people have greater moral value than non-oppressed people, and minorities inherently have moral superiority over majorities due to this) some people cannot pursue their own self pleasure due heterosexual sexuality. This also is why they oppose things like gender roles (those have attached expectations of actions and responsibilities that hinder the pursuit of self pleasure), they see children as negative things (being a parent is a responsibility that hinders the pursuit of self pleasure) and any number of other things.

Not just you, the art of progressive propaganda is shit overall. They rely on their message to carry their comics, which doesn't work because most readers don't want to be lectured, they want to escape reality for a while.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve been collecting comics from pre-2000s
Before the 90s, it seemed to me that art was more, homogenic or rather consistent in it feeling/looking “full”
Sometime in the 90s they seemed to have started hiring rather unconventional, not even animesque sort of artists, these new guys had art ranging from kinda blank, to weird to ugly
Even Rob Liefield’s art was closer to normal than these new guys popping up
I think they were even doing the real good cover art and lackluster interior thing sometime in the 90s and 2000s
I don't know, I have nothing against LGBT or anything like that but I always hate it when people are randomly made LGBT for the sake of inclusiveness, they did it to Dumbledore, Mr Ratburn because and now this, what's next the new LOTR tv series making it were Sam and Frodo were secretly a couple the whole time?
If author's want LGBT characters fine, but don't shoe horn it in after the ink has long dried on a already established character unnecessarily for the sake of appearing modern and inclusive.
