United States George Floyd Protests, Reactions and Riots

Mixed feelings on that, on the one hand the incident should be remembered, on the other hand do you want it associated with the rioting, and looting, in the aftermath?
I know, that was a debate I had with myself, and it just feels like maybe if we try to keep the focus on the unifying issue of outrage at what those cops did/allowed to happen.

that issue is gone, now that the riots have started, any chance of improvements coming, died.
Actually reforms will still happen. Because before this all blew up. Police in Blue Cites were harassing average citizens over the Covid stuff. There are already lawsuits filed about those infractions. So it will be handled in the courts forcing police reforms in certain areas.

Ah so reforms that the Democrats don't want. Watch me play a sad song on my violin

Anyone else see how a lot of people try to "defend" these protests by claiming Antifa doesn't exist?

"It's not a real organization, it has no centralized leadership and such. It's just a catch all label to anyone that opposes fascism and as such a inherently good thing."

It's such a insane troll argument there is no way to counter it. You show pics of Antifa black blocs and they just brush it off as vandals trying to get away with it, and then ignore the point about organizations calling itself Antifa random place name and saying "well since there is no central people controlling each of these are a different thing and as such not Antifa we need to deal with each of them separately."

They have been doing this since the 1940s, haven't they?
