Fallout The Eagle And The Bear [Fallout AU]

Yeah, that aspect of him will be important later on. But there's also a lotta other neat stuff in that scene.
I really liked the description of the bunker ,

Also i was surprised to hear that there was survivors on the moon for over 200 years, how did they survive for so long? did they have self sustaining technology or something?

Definitely technology like that/from Vault-Tech

Remember, Vaults are essentially Arcologies and you can even grow your own food and make new clothes and other stuff there

Now that i think about it people could survive for a long ass time on the moon with all the fallout super science like the G.E.C.K and Cryogenic technology and the Vending machins tech from the Sierra Madre

As much as the NCR are acting like idiots in this, I don't really want the NCR to be destroyed. They US government did give up all rights to rule them with the FEV thing and they deserve to run themselves as they see fit. Neither the NCR or USA are truly evil societies, but their respective delusions have put them on a collision course anyway.

What about the new states under the NCR?

That said, I think there’s still a chance that this ends with a truce for both sides

Maybe even trade

It seems to me the Brotherhood blames everything on the US Government & Corporations for using up lots of resources and being responsible for lots of advanced technology being around and destroying the world, instead of say, the Chinese who bombed it

And this will be the first time they deal with a rebuilt civilization with way more tech used everyday than usual
Nope they got thier asses kicked by NCR shortly before and during FNV. Different branch of BOS but still BOS.

The NCR has from their POV behaved in a fairly logical way against an enemy that they know wants to subjugate them, and that they have good reason to suspect intends to exterminate or enslave them.

Gather as many allies as possible to form a coalition against the enemy, check.

Prevent them from gaining a strategically valuable corridor of land straight into your territory, check.

Launch a rapid offensive with the aim of quickly crippling enemy industrial capabilities, check.

So a nice calm before the storm chapter.

I do have to admit that I am happy that the Enclave seems to be on the back foot some. While you have done a decent job showing how the Enclaves wins though the frist story, short stories and this one at time it does come across as a stomp.

But this gives me hope for some good last stand scenes along with a glorious counter offensive.

It does seem like I was right about House being two faced.

I mean, in the first short story they lost. Flat-out, in that their whole plan amounted to nothing.

I suppose they should be judged by the intelligence they have, not the actual facts on the ground. Still, a year from now in the story I suspect the NCR is going to have harsh questions for their intelligence service.

Idk why people think I hate the NCR either. I usually support them in my FNV runs.
I think the main thing is how you have been depicting the situation, vis a vi showing the corruption and evil shit in the NCR more openly than in the Enclave (which seems to have better living conditions) and the fact that, read with the full knowledge of the E-USA,they seem to be tyranical douchebags who are just whipping up people for a stupid war against alright people. This last point is not taking into account how The Enclave is deliberately baiting them into this role, what with all the spy moves they made to feed those rumors of the Evil Genocidal Facists we all know and love.

I also think that perception might go away more when more Enclave corruption and how ruthless there perpared to get becomes clear... I mean they're perpared to use Nukes again in a world which has gone through a Nuclear apocalypse already, ostensibly against there own citizens and I have no doubt there not burying a whole bunch of shit too, which if it came out would cause uproar. On the more immediate front, I doubt when they go places where Civies aren't going to welcome them like any of there other Conquests (when there was no better alternative) or Texas (which enthusiastically joined against the NCR)... Not fun.

Anyways look forward to more
