Russia-Ukraine War Politics Thread Mk. 2

Well, see's like Macron is serious about the likelihood of sending French troops into Ukraine, particularly if Russia achieves any serious breakthroughs on the front line, or tries to pull sending troops in from Belarus.

Maybe France and Poland will handle things for NATO instead of the US this time.

France and Poland are a lot less pussyfooted about aid to Ukraine, and know what Russia/Putin getting a 'win' in Ukraine would mean for the rest of Europe.

Come on, Germany. Stop being wimps. Remember when you bashed France and broke the Tsardom. Even Stalin admitted that your worst regime could have beaten them without US assistance. You helped end Napoleon's reign of terror. You created the modern army.

Let us see your fangs again. I want to see the German Eagle unfurl its wings and let out a mighty cry that strikes fear into hearts from Lisbon to Moscow.

Man we litterally spent generations and hundreds of lives getting the germans to chill out. I am perfectly fine with them being chill other european countries can handle Russia, please do not turn on the doom music.

It's a shame that France had to go and make it illegal to criticize the Covid vaccine. I might actually be able to feel something more than contempt at this news.
It's legal to criticize with facts. The bullshit lies that nutcases such as Green and Jones spout are illegal and come with penalties. You can criticize things such as the effectiveness for certain segments of the population, slow production, the inefficient handling and ineffective distribution. But outright conspiracy theories get you charges. Free speech doesn't mean freedom from the consequences of that speech.

What "lies" are you referring to, exactly?

Who gets to define what is, and what is not a so-called 'conspiracy theory'?
