The Boy Who Cried Wolf is a cautionary tale. You cry something long enough and people will start to ignore you.The more the tactic is used the less effective it is and the more it pisses everyone else off.

Not really an apt comparison. In this case, it would be like every time the boy cried wolf, the wolf actually ate some sheep. Harm IS being done. It's just a matter of when that harm outweighs people's sense of, "It's not worth getting involved."The Boy Who Cried Wolf is a cautionary tale. Wow, someone like Scott Adams coming out and saying unambigiously that the 'anti-vaxxers' won in regards to the Wu Flu vax vs natural immunity.
"You don't have to worry about what I have to worry about, you don't have to worry about what this vax might do in 5 years."
That one is a fake, it has a 'to be published June 6th, 2023' line. I know this because I fell for it.Apparently that’s fake; but the fact that we can imagine him saying that based on his behavior says a lot.
Sad thing is that when parody becomes realistic enough to fool someone because of how plausible it is, you know things have gone wrong. That one is a fake, it has a 'to be published June 6th, 2023' line. I know this because I fell for it.
