NATO didn't exist in 1939...
No,but Alliance with England and France existed.

There's already a multinational NATO force IN Poland though? Not huge, sure but Russia have just spent 6 months demonstrating they suck even with the kind time to build up a force that would allow NATO to move more into position to counter.
They are. But,if they decide to leave,it would not matter.Remember, that germans and french are practically Moscov allies.About USA - next answer.

Yes.
A lot of US troops

Under Democrats. The same democrats, which gave their polish allies to soviets for free from 1943 to 1946 - when they should destroy soviets in best interest of USA.
So,Biden could decide to do that again. And England in that case would widraw, too.

@Marduk - we do not have Narew or Borsuk yet.And crappy AA missiles are better then non existing.

I have nothing against giving Ukraine weapon - BUT AFTER GETTING NATO STUFF.

Those troops arent leaving. Also nitpic but the U.S. going after the Soviets was a pipe dream.

The troops arnt leaving.
And again, UK based a defense pact woth yall even if the US fails to deliver and we really cant

So where on earth is the war going now? it looks to be a stalemate from the perspective of google maps.

Also where is @planefag ? I haven't seen them in a while.
He's more or less stopped doing the OSINT compilations, as events started to become more opaque and fast paced, so his updates would be weeks behind events if he actually put the same level of detail into stuff he had before.

Also turns out he like's to be able to use the words 'v*tnik' and 't*nkie' to describe Russian shills, and guess what words get infractions/'friendly reminders' for their use.

First CAMM battery is supposed to arrive in a month.
And we do have the UK Sky Sabre deployment. And various US support with Patriot, aircraft, forward troops. In your beloved analogy it's the equivalent of having the BEF stationed in Poland in summer 1939.

They would go,if Biden say so.And USA could burn soviets without A bombs, becouse they have important factories in few cities without AA and fighters capable of destroing B.29.
Half of their oil come from Baku which would burn in one day.
Even if soviets were saints, not genociders,it was in american best interest to destroy them under some pretext.
Helping Poland would be as good pretext as any other.

Again - Democrats are stupid enough to gave Poland for nothing, like they did after WW2.And England always fight to the last soldier - of their allies. In this case,to the last polish soldier.

Which still do not matter if Biden decide to be next FDR.

I knew, giving Poland for nothing to Putin would be extremally stupid - but,we are taking about Democrats. So,they could do so.
I hope,that i am wrong.

He’s still updating his Google document guide woth observations and analysis of the war, can be found here:

Vatnik doesn't get one infractions. Tankie does if used in the context of meaning they are Communists

Notice the last major update was before it was confirmed Mariupol/Azovstol had surrendered?

I'm in his Discord, and he has said things have become so fast moving that he cannot keep up with the stuff anymore. He got tired of events outpacing his analysis/OSINT abilities, for what he said.

What tankie means? sombody who like tanks?
No, but using Vatnik as an insult towards Russian shills is discouraged because it can be claimed to verge on an 'ethnic slur' in some people's minds.

And 't*nkie' is something that most people assume to mean 'Russian shill', not a 'dyed in the wool commie' like our rules/Staff do, and thus subject to the 'no extremism label' rule.

When planefag saw that using either word could cause him problems when insulting Russian shill, a lot of his interest in the site seem to have evaporated.

So good going Staff, in appeasing the Russian shill you chased away one of the posters who you all had really wanted to bring more analysis and posters to the site.

Somebody who likes using tanks to run over civilians.
Basically, a hardcore Stalinist who thinks that any opposition to old-school Soviet-style government should be suppressed with military force.
"They're protesting because they have no food"
"Send in the tanks!"
Then they are more developed that tsarist supporters, who only want sending cossacks.Althought i would prefer facing cossacks then tanks.Against cyviians they used knuts, not sabers.

It's not when it's used against people actually being vatniks. Don't believe it? Do a full forum search for the term and see how many of these uses got infracted.

No, that's not what "most people assume", that's you being wrong.
Or you can believe that evil TS staff have hacked wikipedia, dictionary.com and urbandictionary.

Oh, I know that it isn't getting openly infracted.

However that does not mean it is not being using consideration of if to infract or not.

See, to that's not the common usage of 't*nkie' in most places these days.

Most people use it as an insult against Russian shills in general, same as Vatnik, not for just the specific brand of Stalin fan-boy.

Either way, the position about the word 't*nkie' as being under the 'extremism label' has played a part in why planefag hasn't been by in a while, because he loves to use that word to describe Russian shills and has other places he can use it where no one cares about being pedantic about it.

Have you considered using you mind reading talent in a more productive manner?

I don't know what counts as "most places" for you, but i struggle to see it in any places i frequent.

Well, let's see; Discord, Twitter, Facebook, etc.

This is the only site I've seen that actually takes seriously the idea that 't*nkie' is a label specific to Stalin fanboys, and not as a insult for Russian shills in general.

All of everyone I've interacted with treats tankie as meaning soviet fanboy.

Pretty much; I'd seen it used interchangably with Vatnik for years, so never expected people to get pedantic about it's definition while ignoring the general/casual use of the word in current times.

Edit: Like, 't*nkie', Vatnik, slavaboo, etc have been general insults towards commies and their shills for years; it moved way beyond just 'Stalin/Soviet fanboy' years ago.

Edit 2: Not sure why people care so much about the 'proper' label for commies or their sympathizers that they want to be pedantic about what insult we use against them.

People have skewed priorities, hasn't changed.
