Even in an article meant to criticize 'excessive' lockdowns in LA, the doc seems set on trying to force the mask culture as the 'New Normal' forever, even if only 'select individuals' will need to do it, and even with vaccines and boosters active in the population.

Funny thing is they took a private jet and were on a bus with only other members. So how did they get COVID? They didn't wear msaks obv
I am making a joke. They didn't get it while in TX but go to the capital and get it.
They were all vaxed, and on a private plane.
So theoretically there is no need for a mask (not that thier ever really was, it just useful for control) for vaxxed, particularly if everyone in an enclosed space is vaxxed.
Unless of course the vaccines are not as effective as advertised, and/or vaxxed people can still flag as hot.
So really, this wonderfully highlights why the masks, the social distancing, and the vax is all about control via the guise of public health.
BTW, N95 masks were and still are very useful and actually do the job. They are about the only non respirator or gas mask that stops you from spreading it
Yes, yet most maks people wear aren't N95's, just placebo's used to virtue signal/slightly decrease particle output.
'Stopping the spread' is also a futile exercise now.
It's out, it's endemic now, and people just need to learn to live with it in the ecosystem. False positives in overwhelming testing regime's mean nothing now outside of sound bites for news article and partisan 'gotachas', because the danger of the virus has passed everywhere that doesn't have shit health services (India, NK, Iran, maybe China).
Our bodies will adapt to Wu Flu like we have all the other coronavirus's that came before it, and it will fade into the normal flu season. I expect the normal pre-Wu Flue flu vaccine probably could have handled this bugger with the help of theraputics, but that wouldn't allow power grabs and line Big Pharma's pockets.
Those truly at risk from the virus have either already had it and are immune, are vaxxed (even if they are dubiously effective), or are dead.
The only reason the Wu Flu is still a thing in the news and politics is because of the power it allows the state to wield while dodging around a lot of normal Constitutional limits.
The 'cure' has become far worse than the 'disease', just as Trump warned about. It was backstabber Pence in control of Wu Flu response team, and now it seems likely he was more focused on helping the Dems with their narrative than helping actually learn to live with the virus in our ecosystem. All while pushing unproven/questionably effective vaccines as the 'ticket back to normal', when therapeutics could have let us live normally without lockdowns and such the whole time once it became clear '15/45 days to stop the spread' wasn't going to stop this bug, which is why they were shunned by the elite who wanted to be able to push a vaccine and push the political power grabs.
It's all pretty fucking obvious if people bother to remember what all has happened since Jan of 2020 thanks to what has come out since then, but some still do not want to see it, or admit they see it.

COVID death numbers in the UK were inflated to the point where if you were tested (and had a negative result) but were hit by a fucking bus within thirty days? "You died of COVID."
There are cases of people having to legally challenge loved ones' causes of death because it was marked down they died of COVID -- one couple's son was on a motorbike and got creamed by a very large lorry.
"He died of COVID."
