Hopefully we can overcome this, get a diverse as possible user base. Probably going to tend right of centre, but that is probably a healthy equilibrium, if a board is diverse and mostly sane it should end up somewhere there about.

Problem is, I think Unhappy Anchovy was sort of making the "point" that even if we've got LGBT, "POC", differing religions and philosophies and even Liberals

Most of us all have in common in the end being pretty Anti-SJW or Anti-Far Left-Insanity, which guys like him would essentially cover up and downplay or even reject existing at all

Terthna's a Liberal and believes in there being at least SOME social security programs and all, but he doesn't like SJW's, so therefore he's NOT a "Liberal" anymore or too close to this "Right of Centre"

And let's face it, the actual SJW or "PC" guys we get are constantly mocking and gaslighting and accusing us of stuff like Realm, HistoryMinor, 2BDamned, Ioseb/Comrade Cloud etc

Huh, so this is a place. I literally had no idea this existed until it was just recently mentioned in a thread at SB. But that's just because I like, never actually talk to people.

I'm usually not one for splinter boards, and I'm not banned from SB (yet), but what with being infracted for arguing that Trump did not flat out "refuse to condemn white supremacists" and told that I can't say that in good faith, maybe it's time for a change of scenery

I wouldn't say I'm this site's intended audience, but I'm here nonetheless because challenging your assumptions is the only way to learn. And if there's one thing I believe in, it's learning.

Politically, I'm a pro-capitalist social liberal, but at the end of the day I see capitalism as a means of maximizing human achievement, not as an end in itself.

The "yet" made me LOL.
I'm in the same boat, not banned from SB YET - but I don't expect to last until Spring there - and sick of the PC censorship. I signed up here to have a fanfic and AU board where I can post (I'm banned on SV already, and on AH I lurk only, as not to get banned again), hopefully, without having to autocensor myself as not to ofend the delicate sensibilities of leftard SJW moderators.

Hello everyone. I was looking for alternatives to AH.com (where I'd stopped posting entirely and started lurking a couple years ago) and saw a link to this forum. Excited just to be able to talk alternate history again without having to worry about overbearing moderation and inane, inconsistently enforced rules.
