It's pretty much a direct result of the communication limits within the BattleTech'verse.I used to think the return of feudalism in Battletech was unrealistic, Now I wish it was unrealistic.

Shame they didn't try a federal form of government. Just went straight to medieval feudalism. It's pretty much a direct result of the communication limits within the BattleTech'verse.
You could always bring the USS NCC 1701 from TOS to the Battletech Universe and send ti to one of the planets. Kirk and crew could unfuck one of those planets in a two part episode. Then you oversea the work work Kirk and crew did keep things on track.Shame they didn't try a federal form of government. Just went straight to medieval feudalism.
Comstar was behind the anti-tech proliferation assassination during the succession wars. They are definitely still the bad guy.
Even after the Comstar/WoB schism...Comstar is so infested with WoB agents...they're still kinda the same.
A number of those atrocities were False Flag actions executed by Comstar to keep the Wars burning HOT.In my opinion, the anti-tech proliferation assassination during the Succession Wars was very much justified by the fact that the Great Houses had literally spent the first two Succession Wars proving that they were willing to make unlimited use of weapons of mass destruction. Let the Great Houses build tech back up, and the entire galaxy burns in their greed and entitlement.

There *have* been federal forms of government in the Battletech universe, but by Acts of Backstory Plot, any of the Great Houses that used to have any meaningful form of representative democracy have long since had it subverted into feudalism. The Federated Suns are the biggest example; they canonically started out as a representative democracy, but House Davion took it over and then cemented their power by creating noble classes to hold royally granted authority over the citizens.
Meh I actually don't like it when there is the power of multiverse travel it gives me choice paralysis. I mean what do I do? Do I go to DC, or Marvel, Star Trek, Star wars. Do I go to 40k to wipe out humanity and put it out of it's misery except for the Admech who I'd be tempted to throw to AM.I'd probably bounce to a more interesting universe tbh. I really wanna see some flying cars damnit.

Threshold is a Fever Dream had by Tuvoc after he drank some Blood Wine. And that is my personal head canon on that episode. All things you carry or are wearing are invulnerable. otherwise you would be buck naked if you broke Mach 3 in Atmosphere after all.@Sailor.X Can we take others with us provided they have some sort of protection and they won't turn into Warp 10 lizards?
Because, I seriously don't want a repeat of that bullshit- which happened no matter how much I wished it didn't.
I think my first action is to start drawing up a list, and then researching to expand it more. I want a list of people I can ask advice of, Both Big E's (Emperor and Elminster), Sotha Sil and maybe Vivec (other TES characters depend, though meeting the Chad Divayth might be fun), Gandalf, maybe Batman, Khan from Metro, Master Oogway (even though I suspect he set up Tai Lung), Yoda and the Bendu, and maybe consult Guru for that Namekian lore... Hell I could even go to "God" from Futurama, since as he says, "If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all." This is pretty relevant for life, but especially relevant for people walking the planes and travelling across the multiverse. I'd need their input to begin my quest, whatever it is and then make sure I do it right.
After that, I might actually try to do something more substantial.
So we can pick up people who are falling from a building without worrying about whiplash killing them thanks.Threshold is a Fever Dream had by Tuvoc after he drank some Blood Wine. Yes you can. But you just can't carry them in outer space for the length of time you can stay in space. Because while they are invulnerable. They will still need to eat, breath and poop. So you will need to have them wearing some sort of breathing device and give them snacks. So we can pick up people who are falling from a building without worrying about whiplash killing them thanks.

Well first, figure out the degree of precision that the multiverse jumping can do.
Then go and grab NZT from Limitless and take it to another hard sci-fi universe that can work out its flaws. The Honorverse is probably a good choice.
Then comes D&D 3.5 Eberron to learn magic. While D&D is inherently risky, you need always up Mind Blank if you actually want to explore anywhere fun in the multiverse. Otherwise the godly powers that be are going to basically instantly detect your arrival and the odds are that they would do something, or at least the risk of them doing something is way too high.
Like visit Star Trek and you basically instantly are going to get Q level attention. Or Star Gate and you get to test the exact contours of the Ascended's non-interference policy.
The other big thing you want from D&D (to be fair there are many, that magic system is very good) is Permanent Emanation: Planar Bubble. Planar Bubble is a spell that overrides the laws of physics and magic in an area around you with those of your native world. Permanent Emanation is a feat that will make that spell always on.
Once you have the ability to remain concealed from the local powers that be, go to the fun universes and gain unlimited cosmic power for yourself and your loved ones.

I mean at will travel into "fictional" universes is like the most broken ability ever.
Only assuming that you can actually pull it off. And isn't be a DC multiverse character? In other words a universe you don't touch until you already have power. You could go and replicate how Dr. Manhattan got his powers. Doing that would solve 99% of potential issues, especially if you go for the Doomsday clock versions power.

Way too many godly powers to fuck you over.Go to the DBZ verse to do it, If the freaking Pilaf gang can gather the dragonballs then anyone should be able too. That or just tell Goku some nonsense because hes basically retarded.
