That would require a far greater number of resolved cases, or more accurately elapsed time. If your resperatory system fails completely and you die it happens right away, while people who were infected at the same time might be hospitalized for pneumonia or simply have flu-like symptoms for several more weeks. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of the "its just a flu, lol" people, but you do no good by using numbers just as inaccurate as taking deaths over total cases.

That is actually 100% correct. The reason why it's so high is because we're seeing that initial wave of elderly who die off quickly without lingering on for an extended period. We need a larger sample size, and we need to see what it does to younger people. When the numbers in Wuhan were similar, I calculated a 50 to 60% CFR, and that was simply because the first few dozen died quickly because they were elderly or had pre-existing conditions.

Possible good news, the person my family came into contact with actually came into contact with that Corona infecting and now its the 14th day and still no signs, rest of my family is okay with this but still gonna take lots of veroka and stay indoors

So the county I live in recently found an infected person and both my workplace and the bus transportation system I use to get around aren't fucking around.
Hand washing and sanitizer has been deployed to combat the menace.
If you ask me we can't really contain a virus this contagious but we can severely slow it down. Hopefully slow it down enough for so our hospital s won't be overwhelmed.

I’m on the way home from Europe, I may end up quarantined due to Trump’s directive for two weeks. As it is the end of my senior year, this could be very disruptive to my life. So I pray it will not be so.
