Yeah, we are already seeing gaps and holes in retail deliveries due to this at my store.
I expect this may force many companies to move supply chains out of China due to the port closures and quarantine rules.
I'm not sure the China that comes out the other side of this will be the same beast we used to so fear.

Ok, interesting but potentially related side note. I am a follower of Michael Yon. Many of you know his exploits, and he had been doing a lot of reporting covering the HK protests of late. Well, he went home to Thailand for a bit, as he has family there IIRC. He'd done some reporting from there on the Wuhan virus before attempting to return to HK. He was pretty much deported on arrival, and sent back to Thailand. I suspect it was his coverage of the protests that got him deported, but I do wonder. But, he's headed to Taiwan, so we might get another view of just what the hell is going on in China.

Another update on the situation from the guys at ADV China. They do Yeoman's work.
Yeah China is gonna take a major PR hit with International Companies. Especally those that heavily invested in China. I think the company I contract at will thinking about switching it's supply chain when this is all sorted out.
