China Wuhan Virus Pandemic

Duke Nukem

Hail to the king baby
I'm positive That the Number of cases and deaths is a lot higher than what the CCP is saying there is. I mean why would they lock down tens of millions of people if the virus wasn't that bad.

Paranoia after SARS? Wanting to be seen by the Chinese people to be doing literally everything possible even if it isn’t necessary?

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.

I have no doubt. You seriously can't ask for anything better than a virus like this to destabilize a country like China.

China's fucked for quite a while.

Photoshopped hazmat suits are rascist now.

And this is why millenials get a bad rap (am Gen-X myself), shit like this. But seriously, now the Chinese are asking the WHO in. This is telling and as Kelgar pointed out on the BQ Discord, it's a massive loss of face for the PRC. But considering they're probably lying about the number of sick and dead from this thing (It's virulent as hell, it's not that deadly, as far as we know), this is a good development. At least we might get some outside verification as to just what the hell the Chinese are doing about this.

You don't like the hazmat avatars? I'm ambivalent towards it and find them cool.

I don't care either, it's more the reaction that has me saying that. It's a goddamned NBC suit. It has no opinions, and neither does the pathogen. But don't tell millennials that, that's racist too apparently.
Personally I'm sure it's the MSM finding the next sensation to latch onto to make their money and so the meme makers respond in kind to mock them and get internet cred. An ouroburos so to speak.

The rascism and alt right shit is their bread and butter they need to make money out of irrelevant shitposting.

This meme I see from it is a mixture of black humour, virus awareness to protect yourself and China being vulnerable and weak despite shills saying otherwise.

A study from China is suggesting a R-factor of 4.08. Real bad shit, that is higher than the regular flu.

Not only that, a study from India is showing that the virus shares a number of protein series similar to HIV. Yes you read that right, HIV. What makes that even scarier is the fact that this info seems to be getting downright scrubbed from the internet. Twitter accounts that re-tweeted it, including Zero Hedge for example, got nuked and reddit/facebook posts as well.

Wait, so does that mean it infects immune system cells? This thing is airborn HIV that lurks on shit for over a week? From the comments, it lacks a "spike" that HIV proper has with this protein and another involved in the viral genetic insertion, but the protein in question bonds with the same glycoprotein as a result of the single common protein mentioned, which is found only on immune cells, primarily helper-t cells, in humans.

Between this being such an exceedingly specific factor, the presence of human, bat and snake forms, the location, the pile of secrecy and censorship... Signs point toward "quite plausibly escaped bioweapon", and if it does infect immune cells, it's going to be hell on the medical community, because it'll be a ridiculous crapshoot all over the place. If it is a bioweapon, it's probably incomplete and likely did escape through bat infections, as one would assume anything like that to be under sufficient lockdown that it wouldn't have escaped through the researchers.

There's also the chance that it's an accidental creation from that facility relentlessly dicking around with Coronaviruses to work out a lot of the potential solutions before any outbreak like this would happen, hence having treatments ready before the situation was fully public or any serious research got going, and this stuff is the natural horizontal transfer things going on in the laboratory conditions. Or making "bioweapons" intentionally for the sake of medical research to have solutions for natural superplagues ready before they start happening.

That explains what I hear of HIV medicine being used as part of the treatment.

Do people even have the money for all the facial masks? Or have they already run out of stock?

China isn't a poor country and they have lots of industrial capiblities and there is already a culture of wearing face masks in urban areas this is well with in China's capabilities.
