China Wuhan Virus Pandemic

Depending on how bad it all goes, the Wuhan Flu itself may be the least fatal of the problems it will bring.

The chinese are mad at their government. For all the shit the CCP pulls they were giving the average Chang on the street a decent life compared to their parents and grandparents. But now they are throwing it away via incompetence, pride and refusal to take responsability. The people are getting mad, seeing quarentine after forced hospitalization after blunder. If it gets bad the government may lose control.

If they fuck it up hard the PLA may be forced to engage in the ancient Chinese tradition of declaring the Mandate of Heaven lost and break China into warlordism again.

Now, I assume most of you understand how bad that would be for China itself. The Ughyurs and Tibet would 100% use that as a chance to GTFO. And then you would see a stand off between provincial governors not unlike in 1912 when the Qing fell. Except this tine you got NUCLEAR armed warlords as the PLA stockspiles are taken by it's respective provinces!

And unlike the last few times China broke, this would not just affect the neighbouring Asian sphere. Most of the world's multinational rely on Chinese factories and their employees slave-like wages to keep themselves on top. It would send a shockwave to make the 1929 crash look like a mild crack. Europe, the USA and a good deal of the world will be thrown into chaos.

It has just began.

Once again that's not going to happen and its not because the Brazilian people are stupid their quite well educated, its not because of their work ethic Brazilians have a great work ethic (Some thing Argintinians can learn from...) Its not due to a lack of resources. Its literally because there is a fucking mountain range between brazil and its productive regions. Any thing made in those regions has to go through narrow mountain passes on trucks which make everything more expensive.

The reason Brazil struggles isn't because of corruption, it isn't because of the culture its literally those fucking mountains.

So the mountains have to go then. One man in India has craved a path between two villages. Imagine what a state could do.
Or better, convince one of the brazillian millionares how much more money they could make once the mountains are gone.

What we really needed is decent rail. Dom Pedro II built over 60% of out current network, and no government since has bothered.

Humans are awful in times of crisis.
I understand all too well why they're hunting him.

When someone says they're from Wuhan they get suspicious and scared with what we know of the viral symptoms.

The person from Wuhan also is right to fear running away when the government will send you to the new hospital to rot and die in while being transported in a metal box.

Current government is setting things for railroad expansion, but it'll take some time until we see results in this area(and I don't doubt there will be results - if there is one thing the current Infrastructure Minister does is achieving results).

It really is humbling to see a nation vast as it is with money and projected might brought so low by a microbe.

They can oppress their citizens and they can muscle industries overseas but they can never control a microbe to stop once it mutates to infect animals or humans to destabilise society.

It may have not been confirmed yet. But there are fears of the consequence should this spread to Africa.
Oh no, a mega-epidemic of doom that would devastate Africa!

Sigh... put it on the pile over there with all the others. Ebola, HIV, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Trypanosomiasis, etc etc etc.

Fuck Uganda's next.

If there was a retort from the It's all so tiresome Chinese dude to his African coworker in the video if it happened recently he can act snarky about the virus instead of just taking his statement awkwardly in silence.
Yeah, that won't make what the chinese said any less true.
