Who else dreads this year?

Depends if the moderator is doing their job or not.

You'd probably need about six moderators to keep Trump from destroying any of the current Democrat candidates. And they might need to physically restrain him; muting his mic wouldn't be enough.

Now I'm imagining a fighting game set on a debate stage, with Reps vs Dems, and the 'moderators' as a third faction that always supports the Dems.

I asked if I could vote for both primaries today and the poll worker gave me the flattest look I have ever seen in my life. What was worse is that she knew to give me the Republican ballot without asking after that.
Can you imagine any of the remaining candidates not getting completely destroyed by Trump in a debate?
For all her myriad faults Clinton could at least step into the ring and exchange verbal broadsides with Trump. The Dems weeded out the few contenders who could manage even that much early on this time around.

Politics has always struck me as an evolutionary game and after decades of left-wing predominance in the Fourth Estate (media and entertainment) we've bred a generation of Democratic politicians that expect and take for granted the fact that the media will carry their water while at the same time conditioning a generation of Republican politicians to instinctively throw down like Rocky hopped up on berserker stims for lack of any covering fire.

Donald is a monument to all the Democrats' sins and watching him verbally go to town is probably the most indulgent part of his presidency.
