Why should he ? as long as China support him,he could fake elections till End of Times.
I can't believe anyone wouldn't trust these free, fair, and fortified elections. their government has investigated these claims and much like the american government they have stated they are a true beacon of democracy and any who disagree are clearly insurrectionist chuds.

Venezuelans did it to themselves when they voted for that jackass Chavez back in 1998. Democracy died when he took over the Presidency and Venezuela has gone completely downhill ever since.

From all the reports I've seen it seems like the opposition candidate earned sixty percent or more of the vote before Maduro had it declared they won with 51%. What makes this election a bit different from the last one that Maduro also lost was that the Opposition decided to turn out the vote this time instead of largely boycott it like what happened in the last election (which again Maduro lost but was closer).
