Hmm if you were a Pre-War General launching an invasion into Ukraine what troop/army composition would you use to win?

Try to go for least amount of troops/manpower/resources needed.
To be frank, just throwing everything at the wall will result in victory in very short order, the pre-war US army was just that stupidly powerful by today's standards. Maybe not quite as refined, but that doesn't matter when the everyone is running around with rayguns and gauss rifles. We also never really get to see pre-war armor in FO1-2, although if it's anything in relation to infantry weapons they must've been fierce too.

Reminds me of that poster on SB that said 5.56 caliber rounds would punch through power armor like tissue paper :ROFLMAO:

If that poster was here I'd bet they'd be arguing Ukraine stomps.

I mean given the 2500 joule figure, at point blank with tungsten core ammo with no angle, a good burst might be able to pierce the armor. But that'll kill anybody today at longer ranges.

...Or they could roll an armor piercing crit.

Interestingly, Pre War America has radioactive artillery shells. This might be effective to use considered they can de rad an area after capturing the territory with Gecks

Interesting fire power feat, a Mini Nuke can one shot/blow up the Gigapede

It blows it up so hard there it's body remains travel hundreds of yards

No exact measurements are given for the adult Gigapede but the Hatchlings of it are 3x the length of a horse (8 meters)

It's probably 16-24 meters, pretty impressive feat especially cause the Gigapede is super durable.

Edit: Just consistency with Mini Nukes being in the multi tons of TNT.

(The Abbey is a settlement built in and around a Church so it's like a large building lvling explosion)

Gigapede?

Crazy Dane is doing a crossover with Devil May Cry just so he can fail to stop OP Ukraine. It won't end well for him.

Well based off of your other thread and that the Russians initially used a smidgen under 200,000 troops supposedly, not sure if that included PMC's and DPR/LPR Conscripts, the Fallout Americans might be able to pull off a successful invasion with a similar number of combat forces.

Say... two Marine Divisions with the Heavy Power Armor, four Army Divisions and four Robotic Divisions so about 200,000 troops and robots.

Have two Marine Divisions and two each of the Robot and Army divisions to invade Northern Ukraine towards Kyiv on a broad front instead of road bound like the Russians and the remaining two Army Divisions/Robot Divisions holding and pinning the Ukrainian Military on the Donbass Front and making some smaller scale attacks in Southern Ukraine. If they can capture a bridge hold at Kherson or a land bridge with the Donbass sure, but Kyiv I think should be the goal.
