Humor/Comedy Two Cursed Dead Memes fused Into One Cringy Fanfic: Should I Do It?

I had this fanfic idea for months now and I can't get it out of my head but I can't help but think there wouldn't really be much of an audience and the story is an unholy fusion of two dead and cringy memes.

For context:

I Am Sorry, Jon: AKA Creepy Garfield

I Am Sorry is essentially what if Garfield was a lovecraftain godlike entity. the meme has technically existed in some form since at least 2013 though it was popularized by horror artist William Burke more information can be found here.

Bowsette

Bowsette is an anthropomorphized genderbent version of Bowser as a result of the Super Crown Powerup from the Super Mario Bros Wii U game. According to Know your Meme, "The meme gain popularity On September 19th, 2018, Twitter user @ayyk92, aka Haniwa, posted a comic in which, after Mario and Bowser are romantically rejected by Peach (inspired by the events of Super Mario Odyssey), Bowser undergoes the same transformation as Toadette into "Peachette," turning into a human woman. The female Bowser and Mario then appear to be dating. The comic gained over 15,000 retweets and 42,000 likes within the next few days. Alongside they also uploaded the comic to their DeviantART a few minutes prior to the Twitter post."

in my experience the meme has basically been an excuse for NSFW material.


Basically the story idea I had consist of this.

"After Liz dumps Jon. Garfield decides to take matters into his(its) own hands and to use his(its) comic powers to transform into john's perfect girlfriend (Which in the irony of Ironies turns out to literally just be a human female version of Garfield.) they go onto a few dates, The Entity goes into a little bit of its cosmic origins and overall shenanigans ensues. Long Story short, what happens if your girlfriend turns out to be some sort of cosmic goddess of unimaginable power, and it turns out her motivations and desire's are...utterly mundane."

thing is, I know either way this fic would be AWFUL but I'm not sure if it would be a good awful or bad awful. More importantly would anybody even read it? I don't know, what do you guys think

I would probably read the first few chapters out of morbid curiosity.

I think it would make an entertaining oneshot but after the initial joke there's not much meat to it to sustain such a story. Conclude in a chapter or two and it would be fun though.

to go beyond a 1 shot you would need some conflict of some sort. if to maintain the form elder garfield loses its power and you toss in some relationship drama where the Ex sees that John is moving on and tries to make another grab for him you could get a solid multi chapter story out of it.

thanks for the tips guys. Honestly this is one of those cases where I wish I could draw as I think a lot of the jokes and mini stories I had in mind would function best as a sort of fan comic strip. but hey if people are interested in the idea, I'll see what I can come up with.
