Rules of combat number 1. Don't telegraph to your enemies what you are gonna do. Stop reacting with emotion and go into stone cold logic. The biggest weakness of the MAGA movement has been relying on emotion. This is not the time for such this is the time to in a clear and logical way pick apart all the shady things that have been placed in the election systems of various states. We know where the bad actors are. We just need to get those unelected officials out of their postions of power. No memes not mocking them. Just cold hard action.
Trump has never been cold and calculated before, and has never shown any signs of personal growth or changing.

What you see is what you get with Trump.

His message just isn't hitting in the same way his message in 2016 had hit.

I'd say it's probably hitting more. Especially when we can compare how everything is now to his first term. Everything was better then.

I'd argue that elections themselves are different now than in 2016. And until we fix them it is practically impossible for any republican to win the presidency. They will just spend a month counting the votes and processing "found" mail ins or "same day" dropped off votes until they barely win.

I agree with your second paragraph.

I can tell you from personal experience with people i talk to, and my own feelings, that a lot of us voting for the Right are tired of Trump's undisciplined sloppiness, and prefer someone more calculating, disciplined and logical.

Trump isn't that. Trump has never been that, and I have no reason to believe that he's suddenly changed, because there's never been any evidence of him changing.

That, and a lot of us would rather hear about how he's going to fix the economy and punish those who fucked us during covid, than how he wants to execute drug dealers. But he's one of the ones who fucked us during covid, enabling lockdowns with his massive spending, presiding over one of the biggest wealth transfers in history, and pushing for the rapid development of his poisonous vaccine. I'm also never going to forget that he openly said he was for taking guns first and due process later.

I'll vote for him in 2024 because he's not a democrat, but I'm over Trump, and so are a lot of right wing voters. That's not a media psyop. We are right here on this forum telling you about it. These aren't lies. These are things he actually said and did.

We can do better.

I for one am of the belief we have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Trump runs and wins? Good.

Trump runs and loses? If it's a fair election (won't be) opens up the road for DeSantis 2028.if it's not fair? It accelerates the collapse of the rotten Democracy™️. The faster it implodes the faster we can begin reconstruction.

I am slowpy but surely turning into a accelerationist. Just fuck my shit up. Normies won't wake up until they are chest deep in shit, so might as well speed it up.

The time for such things are over. The fate of the country is at stake. And when the stakes are this high. You don't joke you act and you do so with deadly seriousness.

Your mistake is acting like you can't joke while coldly tearing your enemy apart.

And I'm telling you from MY own personal experience and the people I talk to who were convinced to begin voting Red because of Trump that they're suspicious of anyone who gets the approval of the neocons and establishment GOP.

Plus I go by the screed that if you agree with Meghan McCain and Paul Ryan then it's probably not a good idea.

Why is disagreeing with Trump suddenly mean we must support people like McCain and Paul Ryan?

No. They're part of the problem, and Trump is a better option than them.

People like DeSantis and Rand Paul have track records that demonstrate that they aren't just basic establishment republicans. Especially DeSantis, who has a strong track record demonstrating how he'd govern, judging by the way he's governed in Florida. That track record had lead to the biggest republican win in the state's history. Rand has a track record of going at assholes like Fauci and not just letting him slide.

I want fighters. That's why I voted Trump. I just don't think he's the BEST man for the job. I think he's too undisciplined and has way too much self created baggage.

Bro, you completely missed my point. Neocons and establishment shitters like McCain and Ryan are supporting DeSantis. I'm saying if an idea or plan you have is being agreed with by the neocons and the establishment, it's probably not a good idea. I mean, you said it yourself:

No. They're part of the problem, and Trump is a better option than them.

So why the fuck would you entertain ideas they think is good?

Not every single thing they think is bad? McCain backed Trump at one point. By your logic, we shouldn't be supporting Trump.

LOL, and that sure turned out fine, right? I was suspicious of it then, but Trump at least had just many more establishment fucks against him at the time as well as a counterbalance. Until I see these establishment fucks turn on DeSantis as visciously as they do Trump, then no. Plus, seriously?:

Not every single thing they think is bad?

Fuck off with this shit. They've been a huge reason for the ruination of this country. No one should be entertaining thier ideas about the future of this nation.

You realize that them and Trump agree with some things, right?

This isn't a case of "everything you think is terrible," unless you also want to admit Trump is terrible.

They have bad ideas, and I think they're bad for the country. Not everything they think and believe is bad, which is why they're on the conservative side of things. I'm for things like cutting taxes for example. Is cutting taxes bad?

And I've been suspicious of their plans whenever he agreed with them and against when he took isea thst actually came from them. You seem to be under the impression that I think DeSantis shouldn't run at all. I've already previously said DeSantis needs to serve his full term in FL and run in 2028. My view is this denies the establishment and the neocons what they're planning and further strengthens tge Red in FL. A lot of folks seem to think that this state is permanently red now. Well, as someone who actually lives in one of the flipped-to-red counties, I'll tell you that's being naive. The most pro-Ron lib voters here are purple at best and The Ds are still scurrying like rats here in the background. There's still shit to be done at the state level.

Ah, the "Strike while the iron is ice cold" tactic.

No.

Trump needs to go, and he needs to go now, not 6 years from now after he runs in 2024 and throughly screws us again. Trump wasn't even on the ballot this year and he singlehanded stalled the red wave, what sort of gains do you think the dems will make when they have him to run against directly? DeSantis has a lot of momentum right now, and he's the only guy we have in the field right now that can beat Trump and win in the general. He needs to run now, and to hell with your concerns about this neocon menace lurking in the shadows.
