So, in your view the only choices in 24 are Trump and the establishment, the latter of which is bad for vague reasons and will magically co-opt any candidate that isn't Trump.

Very good libtard impression of putting words in my mouth. What in my posts say they will magically co-opt the candidate? All I've said is I'm extremely suspicious of their push for DeSantis 2024. And I think these long decades of neocon and establishment fuckery I have the right to be suspicious of any moves they make.
Their push for DeSantis isn't some secret psyop. It's because everyone who isnt a hard-core Trump supporter can see that he isn't currently helping, and the best way to fire up the dem base and get them to come out voting en masse is to have Trump run again.
They want conservatives to win. It's a big tent that does include neocons, but like I said, big tent.
Trump just isn't in as strong a position to win now as he was in 2016 and 2020.
Whereas someone like DeSantis who just made history in Florida, looks like they have a far better chance in the generals.
Personally, I hope he does rub for 2024 and beats Trump in rhe primaries. Though him waiting until 2028 is pretty likely.

No, the establishment only wants the establishment to win, with everyone else as their peons. Their hatred of Trump is just an extension their own hatred of people like the working class and anyone whose not down with their bullshit like using the Constitution as toilet paper to wipe their asses.

Look, even leaving aside that the Drug war has been a tremendous failure that has lead to the destruction of families and ruined cities, let's add to that the death penalty. Now all drug dealers will be incentivized to shoot police chasing them down, cause they can only be sentenced to death once, right? On top of this, innocent people will be sentenced to death in even higher numbers.
It's a stupid, immoral idea. Stupid cause it will kill cops, immoral cause it will kill innocents.
This is totally ignoring that selling people drugs isn't even morally wrong (if you are an adult, and you want to fuck up your life, that's your business. Give them the offer of help, but arresting them helps no one but prison guards and private prisons), and also that it ought not to be a federal issue. The only bright spot is that it's unconstitutional.
I mean, they are delusional, this is well established, and now they know acting delusional works too.
Literally replace Antichrist with Trump, and you get 45% of Americans. Which is why Trump cannot win, but literally anyother republican can. Fucking Romney could win in a general at this point (not that I'd want that, but still).
I'd rather lose than gain a victory that results in what might as well be a defeat.
