Chapter I - The Eagle Survives
It was the most important moment of Sirhan’s life, and he blew it.
He was listening to the radio, of which one of the guards at the jail he was being held at was using to mock him most seriously. By allah that ‘C.O Vowell’ would get his due one day, he would be sure of it!
“I would like to thank all members of this here Convention for nominating me for potentially the most important role I may ever be given. This chance to work towards becoming the President of the United States, just as my now deceased brother, the former President John F. Kennedy once had. I know that With time, and some hard work, our nation can be brought back out of this pit we have dug ourselves in.” That man said, his voice scratching against his ears.
Why did anyone have to so haphazardly drop a banana peel just perfectly? When he went to fire, he slipped and missed, the bullet instead striking someone else in the knee and continuing through their leg and into a plant vase. It was almost as if divine providence wished him to fail! Yet that would not be so, for he did it for Allah!
“Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce my Vice President Candidate, Albert Gore, from the state of Tennessee!” He heard Kennedy say, the radio fizzling out ever so slightly. The sound of clapping was loud over the static.
“Thank you, thank you Mr. Kennedy. I must say, this is quite the energetic crowd. To start I know that I and Mr. Kennedy have had several disagreements in the past. However this remains just that, the past. Infact, let me just bring up a few key plans I and Robert have brought up since we have agreed to work together…”
The man who Kennedy has decided upon as his own Vice President would continue on and on, all the while Sirhan despaired.

So to begin here gentlemen I am going to be starting a Timeline. This comes after watching this video which gave me a few ideas. I'm not going to be going exactly with what Cody says. I don't believe RFK would be a hated president, however I do think he will be controversial for the least. I plan on having some changes to the Timeline and a few new major events, some simply taking place a little bit earlier than expected, others simply whole heartedly new, especially in the 80's and 90's. However that is many years off. until then, toodles gents!
