Transgender Rights

Gender is a real thing, but it is inherently based in biological sex.

No Sex = No Gender

You can't change your Gender, because you can't change your sex. You can be more masculine, or more feminine, but it doesn't change if you are male or female.

I wouldn't even use more masculine, or more feminine. Your sex is your sex no if ands or buts, you may not be wired like your average peers but you still either male or female (Unless you are one of those rare one-and-a-million intersex people but those are huge exceptions, not the norm) honestly as interesting as it is to see what makes the average male or female tick I can't help but think gender studies was a mistake as it's done more to muddy the waters than clear them up.

I'm asking, what gender... sex... wears pink, frilly dresses?
Just come out with whatever trap you're trying to set.

Edit:
My answer before your edit, was "anyone who wants to, but typically women."

This is cultural. Culture could just as easily have had men wearing the pink frilly dresses.

This does not mean gender is cultural. It just means expression of gender is cultural.

People still can't change their gender, though.

I mean I did earlier.

"Gender" is the social construct of the things that make things "girly" or "for boys". A dress has nothing to do with biological sex. Makeup has nothing do with biological sex.

The things we see as "for girls" are what society deems "for girls". THAT'S gender.

EDIT -

It's also largely irrelevant, just as an aside.

And also, i've agreed 1000 times, biological sex is what matters for sports. Not gender.

But I also know when it's time to be done so... there it is. Been said. It's all good.

That's gender EXPRESSION.

That's how people display their gender.

It's cultural, it may be different in different cultures. Maybe in a different culture the men wear pink frilly dresses to display their masculinity?

Or a man right now might decide he wants to wear a pink frilly dress because he wants to express femininity. But he's still a man.

None of this means you can actually change your gender.

and Ill respond with a quote I made just a few post ago,

serious question here. Are you or someone close to you trans? Normally people don't fight this hard for something unless they have a personal stake in it.

About that…

The guy who said that? Turns out he admits he made it up.

what's amazing to me is that the groups who insist gender is a construct have tried harder to enforce sterotypes of the sexes more than the people who say your sex is your sex. I'm convinced the word gender was specifically created to confuse people and reinforce stereotypes People who are confused about who they are are easiest to manipulate.

Yeah I've matched with a few dudes pretending to be women. I just do the turbo-like thing and don't even look at profiles. I just sort through the matches later...and they were obviously dudes lol
Hey if you are Catholic it’s ok apparently the pope said they are daughters of god.

Might sound biggoted but I always saw Transgenders as Gay people in Denial.
Nah, not necessarily. Two of the trans people I know are "lesbians," because they "identify" as women, and they are attracted to women.

So they're actually just straight dudes.

Would not surprise me in the slightest. I’m just shocked how many people fall for it. But then, the Big Lie exists for a reason and I also blame some of that on the state of public schools in the West.

If a man believes that he can fly by flapping his arms, would you let him jump off a bridge?

that depends...how long have I been trying to convince him otherwise and how long has he been telling me how he thinks I'm wrong? There may very well get to the point where I go "You know what you're so bound and determined to do this that's fine but don't blame me if something bad happens."

Not an insult. Just got clarification is all.

I believe in... letting people believe what they want to believe. You do you.
My perspective is as a sane leftist who saw the rise of "transtrenderism" firsthand on Tumblr; and the reaction to it from the transgender community at the time. Suffice to say, they did not like seeing their struggles with their gender identity commoditized and turned into a status symbol, and over time they ended up marginalized as their community was taken over by regressive leftist zealots; who saw the whole thing as a point of doctrine for their religious cult, and couldn't have cared less about the struggles of actual trans people.
