New Zealand Minister Slammed After Blaming 'White Cis Men' For Violence

For those who aren't up on the thesaurus of gender identity politics, 'cis' is short for 'cisgender' - or people whose 'gender identity matches their sex assigned at birth' - or 99% of the population.

Minister Marama Davidson is refusing to publicly apologize for her comments, which have received at least 90 complaints. She has allegedly apologized in private to Prime Minister Chris Hipkins, according to news.com.au.

"Trans people are tired of being oppressed and discriminated," Davidson told a reporter for Counterspin. "I am a prevention violence minister and I know who causes violence in the world, it is white cis men. That is white cis men who cause violence in the world."

And while not apologizing, Davidson 'clarified' her comments, saying: "I have clarified what I intended to say and particularly affirm and acknowledge victims and survivors who may not have seen themselves in my comments and wanted to make sure I affirm their experiences."

When asked if she would apologise to people who felt offended, as the National Party has called for, Ms Davidson repeated she had "made things clearer in my public statement".
"I acknowledge that I should have been clearer in my words. I normally take incredible care. I understand the importance of my language in my work," Ms Davidson said.
"This is how much focus I normally take in the language that I use, which is why I have clarified it in my public statement."

We get it Marama, you hate white people.

Hipkins, meanwhile, cut her some slack over the 'cis white men' comment.

"She already contacted my office yesterday saying the video did not convey the message she wanted to convey," he said. "Her office contacted mine. I think clearly words that she ended up using were not the message she was trying to convey."

Hipkins did say that the comment was not "particularly helpful" and that she shouldn't have included ethnicity.

BREAKING: Trans Activists Occupy Florida Capitol, Third Capitol Occupation in Three Days

On Friday, transgender activists occupied the Florida state capitol building in Tallahassee, Florida in response to recent legislation.

The legislation in question is Senate Bill 1674 which makes it a misdemeanor for an adult to refuse to leave a restroom that does not apply to the sex they were assigned at birth, according to The Hill.

In response to this legislation and others like it, activists occupied the Florida state capitol to make their demands heard.

Protesters shouted "Whose schools, our schools" with one protestor screaming, "This fight does not end here. We keep showing up every single day. We keep making our voices heard."

The occupation of the state capitol is the third such instance in the past three days with protesters occupying the Tennessee state capitol building on Thursday and the same being done in Kentucky on Wednesday.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, hundreds of protesters occupied the Nashville capitol, fought with police, and demanded that legislators take action to ban weapons protected under the Second Amendment.

Protesters demanded that legislators "do something" with one protester yelling at a lawmaker, "Red flag laws! One thing you can do, representative. One thing you can do," as reported by the Tennessean.

"No action, no peace!" yelled a number of protesters who began to occupy the legislative chambers thus disrupting the democratic process in the state Capitol.

A similar storming took place Wednesday in neighboring Kentucky after the legislature passed sweeping legislation to ban 'gender reassignment' surgeries for minors.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, as the Kentucky legislature considered passing the legislation, protesters occupied the Capitol building leading to multiple arrests, according to the Lewiston Tribune.

Police initially struggled to apprehend the protesters to escort them from the building, however, about half an hour later they used zip ties to lead the protesters out of the Capitol.

With now three separate attempts by protesters to intimidate lawmakers and disrupt the democratic process within these state capitals, it is clear that the left feels emboldened and is willing to go to any length to get their way.

They killed children.
Yet are being buried

Exactly my point.

For years, Antifa have beaten up peaceful conservatives and the media either ignored it or acted like they were the heroes. For a year BLM rioters burned down cities, committed assault and murder, terrorized the nation, and the media called them mostly peaceful and treated them like heroes. Antifa thugs took over huge parts of Seattle and the media largely ignored it. Now a transsexual terrorist murdered Christian kids, the trans movement and their woke allies are rioting, and the media is acting like trans people are the victims.

These degenerates could be out on the streets openly raping kids and probably the only mainstream media coverage it would be on Tucker Carlson.

When the media and law enforcement are on your side, you can basically get away with anything. The cops are a major problem here too and conservatives need to come to terms with that.

That guy was aggressive towards the police and confrontational. The police were in the right he was also probably harassing the trans people off camera.

It’s funny what a loser he is it’s just him and a few old friends while the majority of the people young and old support trans rights.

…if this is an April Fools joke, I’m not laughing.
What why would anyone be anything but serious on the first of April. Seriously though on this day people should not post stories that are too serious that’s why I won’t be discussing the recent shooting thing because there are some things I won’t joke about and people dying recently is one of them. This is comparatively less serious.

Though you have at least called me out about it I’m surprised no one did it in the Russia thread where I was all Glory to Russia bullshit.

Typical leftist activist thing. The doctrine is that the T suicide rate is so high because the rest of society is not automatically enthusiastic about giving them everything they want, so they feel sad and kill themselves, because bloody hell they have a right to everything they decide that they are entitled to and no one else gets a say about it, and so not giving it to them is pretty much genocide because they will kill themselves over not being treated exactly the way they wish.

This. It's not just the trannies. it's a more general leftist thing. Crybully special-interest-group snowflakes of all sorts will often start screaming about "genocide" anytime they aren't given what they want.

I remember a conversation that I had decades ago with a crazy street-hobo who was going on about how society was wanting to exterminate people like himself, that expecting him to get a job and stop being a moocher meant we were all just like the Nazis.

Retired judge finds Vancouver cop engaged in misconduct in notifying Indigenous mom of death of her son

The police officer, Const. Frederike Buchmann, has responded by filing a court petition seeking to quash the decision

A retired judge has made a preliminary finding that a Vancouver police officer engaged in misconduct when she notified an Indigenous woman of the death of her son.

The police officer, Const. Frederike Buchmann, has responded by filing a court petition seeking to quash the decision of retired provincial court judge Carol Baird Ellan in the case of Meredith Dan, who complained about the next-of-kin notification involving her son, Glenn Rebic.

In June 2019, Dan filed a missing person's report with the police when her son, an avid skateboarder, failed to return home after he'd gone out to celebrate an international day recognizing skateboarders around the world.

Rebic, 29, ended up going to a bar that was having the celebration and that was closing. He ended up kitty-corner to the bar doing a line of cocaine that was laced with fentanyl and died at the scene.

Buchmann, another police officer and a victims services' worker went to Dan's home to break the tragic news. In the entrance of the home, Buchmann began by saying, 'First of all, Glenn is dead,' which caused Dan, who was in a state of anxiety, to collapse.

A family member put their arms around Dan and gave her support and then Dan yelled that Buchmann needed to work on her delivery and needed to watch the TV show Grey's Anatomy.

Dan, who believed that the officer's conduct was attributable to the mother's Indigenous heritage and to her son's economic and social status, filed a complaint to the Office of the Police Complaint Commissioner, arguing that the notification was abrupt and lacked compassion.

A Vancouver police inspector assigned to review the matter concluded that there had been no misconduct but the retired judge was appointed to take another look at the case. The judge found that Buchmann had committed discreditable conduct, neglect of duty, discourtesy and abuse of authority. She said that she did not find the evidence substantiated a conclusion that Buchmann's "callous" delivery of the notification was consciously related to Dan's heritage or her son's social status.

But she said in light of the officer's apparent lack of consideration of their background, or how a next-of-kin notification might best be delivered to a person of Indigenous ancestry, the evidence would appear to substantiate that she was "reckless" about the effect of her actions on Dan as an Indigenous person.

The judge set out some possible disciplinary measures, including reassignment of the officer to the Missing Persons Unit for a period of three months, ordering training or retraining regarding the notifications and ordering apologies be made to Dan and her family.

But before the disciplinary proceedings could get underway, Buchmann filed the court petition. The petition says that there was no evidence to support the "speculation" that Buchmann delivered the next-of-kin notification in a less-than-compassionate manner because Dan is Indigenous. It argues that the judge's decision was unreasonable and raises a "reasonable apprehension of bias" in part due to the judge's use of Google searches to supplement her analysis of the case.

Andrea Spindler, the deputy police complaint commissioner, said that there would be no comment on the petition as the matter is before the courts.
