You don't understand women at all if you believe there are tens of thousands that wouldn't manipulate that law to their advantage and rationalize it as them not having killed the dude.
I don't imagine there are too many women that have more reason than I do to want their ex dead than I do. Be that as it may even I know (not think KNOW) that's a bad idea in today's environment.
A lot more would do it if they could have the state do the actual act for them by lying.

Out of all things to have death penalty for, this is bullshit, not even traitors, pedos, jihadis and actual hardened criminals have it.
I KNOW women that would GLEEFULLY twist the system to kill their husbands/significant other. If I told my current husband everything my ex did he would kill my ex right now today. At my weakest I've been tempted to do it. I haven't because of how it would affect us. If at that time I knew I could have basically had my ex assassinated by the system, yeah I would have done it because the blood would have been on someone else's hands.

Damn you are just a font of bad ideas honestly what you said is a bad idea for many reasons first off women might lie. Second they might in the heat of it want him dead but not want it later.
Honestly it’s funny when Sharia law is better than your ideas, when a woman is unjustly beaten by her husband she goes to court and then the court if he is found guilty deals out an appropriate punishment an eye for an eye. In this case the court officials and the wife would beat the husband. That sounds better than prison and having to spend money guarding people
Heck you could have it changed so that if a husband is a serial abuser and the woman has gone through this before she can get an expedited pardon if she kills him. That way it would both satisfy the desire for vengeance and also stop any cycle from happening if the guy beats her is punished then beats her and is punished.
Also the wife and children would be better off having the shitty father beaten instead of going to prison because he can still support them if he is not in jail.

The trouble is that while some people can do that, the vast majority simply cannot ignore.
And thanks to the women are wonderful effect, simply saying "I am female" will naturally make people side with you on the dumbest of topics, I have several friends who have pretended to be women who got that exact treatment.
So, if naturally people are predisposed to treating women better, the solution is to have harsh enforcements on proving they're actually female, because the only reason they'd be explicitly saying they're female is to get attention and better treatment.
