so here's a good question the precursors from halo vs the nox who wins?

No idea, Ra might have been powerful enough to psychically kill a Nox if he had some backup. Considering he finished off Adria.

If that helps you figure that out.

Edit I always wondered why more sci fi settings didn't pull a Titan AE and convert their mystical energy beings into fuel.

Granted there are quite a few settings where the energy being can fight back but its never even considered as an option.

It's a trick question given the Precursors back up plan. I'm sure you've heard of the flood?

Harlock

I should have expected that really

Unleaded Vorlon, nice :)

Enjoyed the new additions, again very immersive character work and imagery. Easy to picture it all unfolding which is very nifty.

Tollan seem very insecure, they were in the original in my view, defined b their fears and errors, but these ones seem much nastier. Wounded maybe? If they took a beating that probably stings and could make them extra swaggering to smaller powers, typical bully behaviour.

Aways entertaining to see Nox and I like the contrast of these three female leaders. All three have power in their role and apply it without any particular reservation, but for Travell its an exercise in assuaging insecurity by squeezing smaller people, for Kinsey its good old sociopathy and cruelty, and for Morrigan its Tuesday.

It just hit me, it's the kind of solution you would have seen applied in SG or old school trek had the energy beings in question not possessed a means to fight back.

The Vorlons totally deserved to be turned into gasoline :ROFLMAO:

Thank you, one thing I liked about earlier seasons of SG1 was the dynamic between good off the book spooks like Jack and the evil ones like Kinsey's friends in the NID and the ones just out to get paid but weren't inherently evil like Maybourne.

And how often their lives seemed to intertwine. So I've followed that as best I could.

And I always liked Kennedy. He was horrible but he was a great antithesis to Hammond.

I may use Bauer in a future episode too. Though he was less a bad special ops guy and more a bureaucrat who was way over his head.

Yes! You caught it! They're immigrants to this Galaxy because they lost everything.

Have you figured out where Im going with that yet? Or what the Tollan really are? Or rather who they're descended from?

Mmaaann I'm glad I didn't screw that up. That was something I wanted to do without it coming off way too cliche.

They are all three similar yet one just represents the wildness of power while the other two represent its worst aspects.

Ironically the Morrigan was the only one trying to help and She's the most dangerous of the three.

Well, help being a relative term, I'd be terrified to get noticed by something like that :ROFLMAO:

My only other potential guess was that they might be from BSG. Or maybe the Jotunn from Pegasus. Also potentially ancients from the Pegasus galaxy that managed to evade detection. I can keep guessing but I would have to do more research.

They certainly love larping like they're a bunch of primitives don't they?

Nah primitives are the best. Sir Isaac Newton is the most deadly son of a bitch to have ever lived. Especially in space combat. You are just as dead if they kill you with a pointy stick.

This is true!

Let's just say the Atlantis Expedition is gonna run into and thoroughly come to hate the Tollans cousins.

I think that Hercules would love to meet Patton. They’d get along like a house on fire.

Patton and big Herc...that's not a combination I'd want to be staring down opposite me.

The House of Aethir is probably gonna be one of those families who throw money at earth for sugar related stuff and cattle and probably dogs and Herc was solidly impressed by Shepherd and his Rangers.

Also, side note. I just revamped and restarted my old BT SI over on SB. It’s named Blood on the Horizon if anyone wants to take a look.

Thanks! I'll check it out.

Sheppard was actually my fav character in all of the SG universe. His and McKay’s byplay and friendship was actually really wholesome to watch.
