I just did some math, and my conclusion ain't pretty.
The people present for the fire amounts to about 0.03% of Indiana's workforce. That may not sound like much until you add the people who work there and weren't present. That puts it at about 0.14% and it's Walmart so they're all getting layed off as soon as possible.
Reduce it to just Indianapolis' workforce and that jumps to about 0.4-0.5% (i.e: 1/250 to 1/200). If you're in Indy you probably know someone whose not-at-work life was personally impacted by that fire.

The german people are smart and the German people always have a plan.
When things go according to plan Germany does well when things go wrong they can go horrifically wrong.
