As a lifelong staunch fan of the San Francisco 49ers, it was heartbreaking seeing my beloved 49ers losing the 2023 Super Bowl Championship to the back-to-back Super Bowl champion KC Chiefs in Overtime, but it was a great season.

Sooner or later, my 49ers will win their 6th Super Bowl Championship. I am confident they'll be back in the Super Bowl & bring home the 6th Lombardi Trophy to the Bay Area & finally exorcise those demons!

I think this Superbowl was one of the best ones I've seen in sometime. The defenses were really turning it up for the firs three quarters of the game, and when they finally started getting tired the offenses were really able to start poking holes in the game and Kansas City was just more able to do so then the 49ers.

And I also loved how two new Field Goal records were made in this game, with the 55 and 57 yard Field Goals. Those kickers were amazing, except for that one blocked Point After Touchdown. I definitely do think that this is a Kansas City Football Dynasty like they were intimating. Patrick Mahomes is up there with the other greats like Troy Aikman, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, John Elway. I don't think he's the greatest of all time like a Tom Brady, but he's an elite level quarterback.

NFL Off-Season Developments:
1.) QB Russell Wilson going to Pittsburgh Steelers for 1-year deal.
2.) New England Patriots trading QB Mac Jones to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
3.) Tampa Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield staying put.

Can't say much on it. haven't paid much attention to football in the past. outside of eyeshield 21 a sports manga and what I can pick up through listening to others at work. him being able to rush as well as pass is good. him having 4th place iwith a passer rating of 100 is interesting since he has had a fairly long career. looks like he didn't do as good with the broncos as he did with the seahawks. will have to see if he gels better with the new team or ends up doing worse. 10 years of pro football is a long time. that the broncos sat him out for the last two games is a bit worrying. either he didn't get along with them or they were babying him to avoid injury would be my sense of it.

Wasn't shocked when Barkley went to the Philadelphia Eagles since he's from PA & played college football at Penn State.

2.) RB Derrick Henry going to Baltimore Ravens with 2-year deal for $16 million.
3.) QB Kirk Cousins going to Atlanta Falcons for 4-year deal.
4.) DE Arik Armstead released by the defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers.
