at one time Furry ranged from anyone who cosplays as an anthropomorphic animal character, to the fursuit degenerates everyone thinks of when they think of furies. the latter pushed out the former with their degenerate behavior. A lot of people point to The Failure of Rainfurrest.

Put another way, a guy who dresses up as Darth Vader for Halloween vs. a guy who genuinely thinks the Empire Did Nothing Wrong and makes defending them in vs. debates and arguing that they were clearly the good guys a major part of their life.

For the meme itself I find it telling that the leftist in it forcibly shuts up the Conservative, then force something down his throat. Unintended symbolism, I suspect.

Honestly that isn't accurate at all, most furries don't even HAVE fursuits because they're expensive as hell.
More accurate would be to say that a furry makes anthro animals a way of life.
