California in a move more devious than any other yet decides stealing water from Colorado and charging their own citizens for it isn't enough and is enacting legislation to charge well owners for drawing their own water!
States that make money off of selling water to their citizens like to impose restrictions on all non-state sources in order to make sure they keep that sweet revenue flowing and don't have to put up with "unfair" competition from mother nature. Colorado itself actually goes so far as to ban rainbarrels.

Just heard the recall petition against Gascon failed again.
Knew that was gonna happen the instant I read that 1) the LA County Recorder wouldn't allow outside observers to witness the count, and 2) the Recorder himself was involved in the 'magical' turnaround of another election that JUST SO HAPPENED to favor the Democrat candidate earlier in his career.

Yeah, sorry LA, but it sure doesn't look like you're going to be allowed to vote your way out of this particular mess, 200k+ vote margins against the Soros enforcer be damned.

Interested to see if Caruso has a shot of winning the Mayoral runoff election in 3 months.

I'm pondering if we'll see the revolt actually start in California.

We haven't hit the wall yet.

Think of the state as playing an increasingly complicated case of Jenga where each governor knows the train is going to hit the wall at full speed, is only excellerating it and is praying there no where in the splash zone when it all goes tits up. So everyone trys to make sure it doesnt go bad while their in charge and hopes and prays it all goes into the shitter when their gone.

Were basically Vensuela right before things got turbo fucked.

I'll note this bizarre measure was actually proposed by the Unite Here Local 11, a Union representing hospitality workers in California. It's opposed by the Valley Industry & Commerce Association, which represents hotel owners. So it appears to be at least partially a faction fight between the bosses and workers being fought by proxy through their respective unions.

Homeless also aren't going to be housed for free, the businesses will be paid going market rates by the government for each room filled by a homeless person. So the Ritz is going to be getting 1500 a room for each homeless at the taxpayer's expense. It also looks like this law is going to have some weird interactions with the real estate market that will (I know, this is a stunner) make building new homes more difficult because of course it will.
